Um maybe dump Semi for a nuffie next week who could play in Round 18. Move Edwards to scoring WFB and use the cash to get a gun HOK in?

Yeah, I think of stuff like that myself, but really, it could happen to any player at any training session. If I don't get him this week, I will be relying on Brailey and Suli not dropping a specific amount to allow me to go Suli to Edwards and Brailey to Smith. Getting Edwards in now for Ponga leaves me a player short but gives me the flexibility to choose a trade out next week to get the money I need. If Suli drops too much then I can downgrade Yates or someone else, depending on how Brailey goes too.

Do you mean Hodgson as your second hooker there? Downgrade Aauva and maybe even Semi if you want to take the hit then upgrade Hodgson to McInnes.

That is a gun starting side on it's day.  No depth is the issue and I don't know what you can do about that, but I don't think you need to if you just strengthen your 17.

My personal advice would be to completely forget about the next few byes and use a couple of trades to generate cash as you will have a great 17 for the run home.  You are going to get murdered over the next few rounds anyway, without running your actual numbers.  Once teams are out there could be a nuffie or 2 to cash out with.  But my 2 cents is work towards your final 17 and not bye numbers.

I don't think so, he's had 4 games now and I think he has proven himself. I think I'm gonna swap him for Sione, had enough of his inconsistency.
