the funny thing is, there isnt many options. teams that play round 18: Dogs, Eels, Knights, Panthers, Rabbits, Rooters, Sea eagles, Storm.

They are, for the most part, largely unaffected by origin. and those that do have guys who aren't basement price come in. Roosters and Storm have a couple of basement price forwards but those guys are good for less than 10 pts it seems.

138k player is 19k cheaper. Suli has lost 19k and 18k last 2 rounds

Yeah but thats in the past, you can't change that now.

Obviously its dependent on your team and plans i.e. how much you need the money (or not), but given Whare isnt a renowned scorer (and is currently $157k) part of what I was suggesting is that you could forgo his round 18 score, which on average is 20 points and more than likely going to be less than that (9 from 14 are less than 20), in order to bank a further $19k which for some (dont know your situation) will come in very handy.

I don't know man, I guess Im just very surprised at Whare's name coming up twice today

Also Suli up against the Knights this week in a day game. Every chance he makes or gets close to his BE of 41 I reckon!

I guess I was thinking mostly along the lines of an injury throwing up a starter. But yup, for sure, take your point that nothing currently stands out!

This Vaughan injury has really got me stumped. Was planning on holding him through the year.

Unless by some miracle the damage is super insignificant, Dragons have bye the following week he has three weeks (2 rounds, including a bye) to recover.

This means ill likely have to play Gurgess *shudders* for the next two weeks.

The other option is Vaughan to Jbrom, Whitehead to Surgess. This will mean Jbrom will likely have to play out the season in my 17, with Graham.

What happened to Brailey? Is he injured?

And Elliot to Mannering or Taupau?

broken jaw, well was suspected at the time anyway. he didn't look good, went off to hospital.

Tempted for CNK ---> Dud, Vaughan ---> Taupau.

10 trades remaining and I have more depth in my squad than I need so I can afford to play around a little.

Taupau got DPP and is in red hot form so go for him. I mean I say this as Manners busted out an 80 but got to love the flexibility of Taupau

I had 245K there to get Smith in for Brailey. Now that I don't have enough and Brailey won't be losing any more cash, I can let him sit until round 20. So, now I can trade Yates into Taupau in a single trade leaving me with 1K. Mighty tempting!!

This week's 17. One trade. Vaughan to Taupau. Leaves 7 trades and $195k. Will look at bringing in Smith for Pritchard, and Fifi after R19.

Question if Woodsy goes 50+ again this week, should I consider trading Graham out for him in Round 19?

Taupau's the ideal target but y'know will cost a bloody lot. I mean if Graham continues these 40 scores then that's just not keeper level. Woods could just be in a run of form but if he strings enough of them together then he makes a good case.

Was pretty annoyed yesterday that I traded James to Fifita the week Vaughan gets injured, but in the big scheme of things it's not that big a deal. At worst I'll have to play Fuimaono for a round.

I think I'm going to hold Vaughan, especially with Yates now an earlier cash out possibility than expected. Can now pick any CTR/WFB/HLF, or do Graham - Taupau.

100% not running 2 hookers now after going balls deep last week, so if Vaughan is in fact out for longer he will need to be traded. Glad McInnes went poohs lol

ASADA showed up and you can't be tested if you go off to hospital.

Yet he keeps producing and looking more and more dangerous every week. I'm keeping him for 18 at least then reassessing.
