Well the silver lining with Graham may be two fold, 1) at least I trade him out now rather than suffer through more poor scores til hes worthless, and consequently 2) tualau gets decent mins in rnd 18?

What position has Brown played when coming off the bench?
Lots of single digit scores and crap PPM. He's only a cashout but you dont want to be stuck with his scores as an AE especially when Siro comes back.
Whare although 20k more may be the safer option now that Penrith are starting to fire and his scores likely to improve.

Nah Welshy made that trade weeks ago when he let go of Whitehead (which sadly might actually look like an ok move...)AL wrote:

Any FRF cashouts that could be useful? Don't have any DPPs so the pool is small.
Francis Tualau from the Dogs should score ok with no Graham+Eastwood and Frawely on the bench and plays 18

What position hasn't he played? No stats to back it up, but he's done HOK, CTR and 2RF, but he has scored those single digits from 15 to 20 mins per game, as opposed to Whare who has scored slightly more in 80mins.
Basically - they're both AE risks, but Lew Brown will get me more in R18/19.

Whats the verdict on the Black Widow?
Just saw I could bring him in instead of Lew Brown (at a cost) but still keep the switcharoo with Fui in 2RF/CTR.
So:
Lew Brown (and gets lots in cash, but AE risk) or
Maubbs (and sacrifice the war chest, but final 18 worthy)

Any Semi owners out there keeping him? Or should I trade him out for Cleary while I can? I'm really torn but it's now or never for this trade for me. Or I could just grab Tedesco instead?

If Siro is out for 8 weeks, there shouldn't be much of an implication, maybe a week or two at the end.
He looks like the perfect cashout and playing the next few rounds, but I think personally I will see what happens this week. His price ain't going up so that's not an issue.
I kind of agree that Whare is probably a better option.

I'm keeping him for next week, but not playing him this week. I'd love to move him on for probably Cleary, but that would mean I move Munster down and would have Munster and Slater at the back, which would fuck me for round 19.
If you think it's a now or never trade, and it can't wait, you might as well pull the trigger as Cleary is a keeper, Semi definitely isn't.

It's just the risk if he gets moved to centre at any stage. If Aubbs didn't move to the centres again, he is a steal at that price. Just depends if you want to take that risk. To be honest, I've thought about it also.

Re: 2017 NRL.COM Fantasy Thread 54
I'm pretty set on spending my Smith warchest to bring in Kapow. Smith playing silly buggers so no point keeping money on the pine for 3 crucial rounds. Potential team this week;
McInnes Brailey
Taupau Fifita Kaufusi Brown
Surgess Tolo JDB Crichton Elliot Fui
SJ Munster Lamb Laybutt
Smat Croker Cotric Kelly
RTS Slater Edwards Semi Lolohea
10 trades left and 1K!! Not sure who gets the last reserve, but Elliot should bounce back. Could sub in Cotric for SMat too and even give Lamb a run against the Tigers. Plenty of options to get the Smith money back over the next few rounds.

wolf i would consider fui over elliot. has more attacking tbs in him. and scored 58 last hit out 80 mins on the edge
elliot has had so many negative points lately, not sure if its form or if he is just shit like a watered down hoffman

I'd already decided on the Vaughan> Taupau trade, but Graham out has really thrown the spanner in the works. I know I'm going to pay for this, but I'm afraid Captain Cam's kitty just got royally rogered and it's hello Future Australian Captain for Pritchard Means I'm stuck with Friend and FAC for the run home, but looking pretty good through 18/19 and Graham still to sell. Fuck these injuries. Fuck HIAs. Fuck the loophole. Fuck Ramesh and Vijay. And fuck QLD.

Yeah cheers mate, and honestly, not sold on him, Fui getting shafted or even Surgess being a late withdrawal was one of the reasons to keep Fui there as insurance but if Surgess a confirmed starter, you're right, he should score the same or more than Elliot. Even Cotric I'm considering over him.
Probably will do the Yates to Kapow trade cause I don't have any DPP's between front and second row and not getting Kapow in the front row, will leave me short in round 19 with Kaufusi and Brown out.

As my post above, I've spent my Cam kitty also but he's playing silly buggers and is looking for the first time ever to not be essential. Friend I looked at for Brailey too, but I do want to try and get Smith back as I have the coin around and trades.
Go with it Rabbit. I'll ignore that last part of what you said though, everything else I'm on board with.
