LBrown or Whare purely for r18 points? Looking at Manly's rotation this year, edge forwards always gets at least 65mins. LBrown should at least get 20pts with that game time whereas Whare has shown he can't even crack double digits a couple of times this year. Go with LBrown right?

Brown has 79 BE. I'd watch how he goes for 1 week

Tofu might play this week if passes fitness test but selling for JDB last week is doubly bad with Vaughan out now JDB could go back to 80 which was one of reasons I took the risk in selling

Just my 2c...They're both shite and an accident waiting to happen. I'd be happier skipping the 9 points you will probably get and go with some DPP 138k player that won't be a horrible AE in waiting.

Thinking of holding Semi til after next week and then jumping to Tedesco. Then for round 20 I'm thinking of going Nathan Brown to Pearce via Fui. Sound decent? Would leave me with this team

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Taupau Eisenhuth Fai
Taumalolo JDB Surgess Gallen Crichton Fui
    SJ Pearce NuBrown Hampton
    BJ Hayne Scott Kelly
    RTS Tedesco Munster Edwards Phythian

    Butters! Laughing

Bringing in LeBrown (so proud that nickname stuck!) purely for rd 18/19 points.

LeBrown was hugely popular when the Warriors got him in 2009 as he was dirt cheap and averaged in the 40s and then continued that good average in 2010 which saw him selected for the kiwis!

Don't remember how he went when he arrived at the Panthers.

Sounds about right. He was never a 50-60 gun, but pointscoring was also different when he was at his best as a rookie. Certainly no 3pts for a palm back then

Jeeze 2009 was it that long ago.

He was largely pretty ordinary at panthers too often a utility except for his first year when he saw some good gametime. He was excellent at warriors though and only reason in this conversation so much. I'm not buying him for 2017 fantasy FYI Laughing just loved him as a player yesteryear

He pretty much said himself that he had his best time of his career under Cleary. Ivan basically took him straight to the Panthers with him and I'm surprised Lewi's career hasn't come full circle and he's ended up back at Wests again with Cleary there now.

What he was so good at with the Warriors was palming off that first chest-tackler. Had a crazy ability to go straight at them and push them off and create a small amount of space for himself or a team mate.

Cleary turned him into a second-rower too (slash centre!) where he'd only been a hooker up until then.
He scored one of my favourite Warriors tries when Johnson put him over in the corner against the Storm in 2011. :-D

Thought about that, but don't like a cash out in the hooker position. I think you need two guns coming home. For me it was either a gun or nothing.

I stand corrected. Perhaps my memory is tainted due to some poor scores after I brought him in all those years ago.
