Trying to decide who becomes Taupau.
Fifita, Vaughan, McGuire, Musgrove
Crichton, Burgess, Gallen, Lolo, JDB, ET
Cashing out Vaughan to Tualau leaving me cash for the Kapow upgrade.

Which two to play between RTS, Cody and Guth? Had Cody and RTS in all week but kind of just want to watch someone in the Thursday game.
Also two centres from Aubs, Hayne, SMat, Fui. (Aubs a definite if named in second row, but the other? Leaning to Hayne.)

Alternatively I could trade out Musgrove to Tualau and keep McGuire and ET for now. Musgrove not needed for 19

Cody and Guth, Warriors in Perth? RTS to struggle immensely.
Aubbs and SMat this week is where I'd be leaning. SMat due a big game.

At the moment I'm benching Cody and RTS and if had to play one probably Cody

Lamb out - Cleary in
Cheers.

How many halves do you already have? If this is the only way to get a good second half then go for it.

3 trades left after those trades. I'm still debating those trades due to only having 5 left. I don't really want to play Cody Walker so bringing in Cleary solves that problem.

Vaughan would become Kapow and leaves 8 trades.

That's the way to play it LB. Upgrade Vaughan and cash out Musgrove.

If Friend outscores McInnes over the next 3 weeks it's going to be hard to know which one will get upgraded to Smith...originally it looked like McInnes was going to be the better option but Friend smashed him points wise last week.

Obviously Semi. I have Nu Brown and I'd play Sione and Cody ahead of him and none make my 17

Re: 2017 NRL.COM Fantasy Thread 54
I agree (Im in the same boat), more of interest to me is the chance smith doesn't play all his remaining games. Surely he gets a rest if/when the Storm lock up first! If that's the case then over the seven game stretch from 20, he'd have to average 10 better than those two per game for it to be worth getting him, unless of course u have a trade in hand to sub him out if he gets a rest...OnTheLast wrote:If Friend outscores McInnes over the next 3 weeks it's going to be hard to know which one will get upgraded to Smith...originally it looked like McInnes was going to be the better option but Friend smashed him points wise last week.
Im almost tempted to hold off on the Cam upgrade so long as McInnes and Friend are scoring well enough.
Also, Milch and I had a brief chat about this before Smith got rested last round, but it now really seems like Smith's history of playing every game is probably not that reliable to base assumptions on moving forward anymore. He's now been rested twice this season with no obvious sign of injury. It seems age is catching up with him a bit and Bellamy and Smith are being much more careful about preserving him for when it matters. I see no reason why he wont be rested again this year if the Storm are in a position to.

Tossing up this same dilemma last night. I think Mcguire is more reliable, once origin is done.

With Taupau being such a popular pick is anyone worried he will bust out a few 40 - 45's over the next few weeks?
