at what point does points outweigh cash?

im looking at brailey to smith - but need an extra 13k (brailey lost 16k this week boo-urns).
do i either make a double trade with adam elliot to a nuffie to fund or hold off until after 18/19 with elliot scoring through last big bye round?

    Hold mate.

You should get more points out of Elliott than Cam over the next few weeks. Cam not even certain to play this week (90% he will but Bellamy playing mind games in his Presser). Also gives you a chance to look at potential injuries and cash outs etc.

Interesting. I was 2734th after round 6, now 55th. Only traded 4 times in first six rounds, so in a way holding firm helped but then trading hard after round 6 has helped make strong moves.

So 10 trades remaining and 17k in the bank.

With the squad as it is I have:

    RD18 - 9 (that number doesn't include Munster)
RD19 - 19 (that number doesn't include Laybutt, NuBrown, MWZ)

Should I just go all out for Rd18 numbers at the expense of my poorer Rd19 scorers?

It's a bigger if a game, so many variables. Holding firm in the first month is fucking hard because you are worried everyone will get the jump on you.

Gallen was one of my first picked but his heart truly didn't look like it was in it the first couple of games so spent his coin elsewhere.

i think theres C.King, Roache, Segeyaro or whoever else im forgetting about

Assuming Brailey (or Kasar) leads to this question.
Smith, McInnes, Friend. That Manly hooker seems to be going alright.
Who's your hookers? Some are running a one hooker option so maybe you could do that and cash out.

I think so, you should still end up with a great score comparatively with those numbers in 19 anyway.

Looking at these numbers for 18 with no trades

    .....,.....
    Graham, JBrom
    Brown, Merrin, Finucane, Crichton, JDB
    Walker, Munster
    SMat, Scott
    Moylan, Edwards, Semi

SlamminSam/Fifita back in for Graham if he doesn't lift by R19 via DPP
    Potentially Arey/Cleary for CNK

Haha oh yeah! Good luck tomorrow night. For an AB-less team, the 'canes look pretty good.

I have 10 for R18 pre-trades, but except for maybe bringing in Taupau any other trades damage my final side

You do realise that the All Blacks are historically usually rusty in game 1 of any series & hit their straps from the 2nd test match.

Lions front 5 were awful, simply cannot beat the ABs unless you beat them upfront and we got battered! we created 5 clear chances, finished 2, ABs 3 from 3. Too clinical as per usual

Not sour grapes because New Zealand they were fantastic but Peypers reffing of the ruck is fucking atrocious and the amount of forward passes allowed is like watching Smith rort the refs over here

Itoje and Warburton in and the ruck will change. Great series so far

yeah i would with that many trades left. you'l still have plenty of cashouts to go brailey to cam in round 20. nice team, plenty of depth and trades to burn

Yeah mate, that's what I was thinking, Smith only playing one game out of the next three and kapow playing every round. Should have the ability to get the funds back I reckon.

Your right about the forward passes & you see it in a lot of rugby games. I watched Scotland v Fiji & Fiji scored a try off a pass that was a mile forward & even the recipient of the pass was in front of the passer. I'm not a rugby buff & I don't really know the rules re rucks, mauls etc but there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies from ref to ref. The problem with rugby is there are too many rules & if a ref ruled a game to the letter of the law there would be a penalty every 5 seconds.

Do we think N. Ross aka White Lightning will continue to play fullback. I've always been tempted over the last couple of years to put him in my team just because he's called WL haha but never have because he plays for the Knights.

Brown said he's pretty certain that he will keep him there the rest of the year.
