Re: 2017 NRL.COM Fantasy Thread 55
Brown was very critical of the Knights performance calling it the worst attacking game of the season & although he didn't bag his halves as all good coaches shouldn't you could tell he wasn't very happy with them. As a Lamb owner I hope he gets brought back in this week although I don't think it will happen. I would assume Brown will give his halves combo at least another couple of games & then if it isn't working then he will bring Lamb back in.

I was going to say the loopholing options aren't great for me this week. I have Taupau as a C option but after last week you wouldn't be feeling safe with that. Aside from that, all my players are outside backs which can be a lottery.
I'm actually feeling okay with putting the C on Edwards but still it's not ideal.

With Munster out I am relying on the left-field possibility that Moses Leota plays to field 17. Is my memory correct that a Panthers forward picked up an injury in their last game?

Up to when Croker went off he was scoring a point/minute. I would sell Croker if his knee injury is serious but I doubt it is as they showed him standing on the sideline near the end of the game. If it was serious he would be sitting down, leg propped up with ice on it. Out of those 2 I would sell Cotric if you had to. I sold Cotric a couple of rounds ago & have since regretted it.
Thanks mate. Ideally I'd like to keep both, but funds need to come from somewhere and players on the park. I think I'm only asking cause deep down, I really don't want to ditch either. The players I want to ditch all playing this week haha.
I think Croker might have been putting on the knee injury a bit cause he knew he was going for a HIA. I think he was trying to thrown them but it didn't work.

Feeney is awful though. He was bad against the Dragons and he was bad against the Tigers too. Lamb has been one of the Knights better performers all year, he was the wrong person to get dropped.

I think:
sell Croker if injured
if Croker ok then sell Cotric
Start lurking on the Raiders forums to see if you can get any info on Croker.

I had Lamb from the start and sold him for Cleary last week, so there's a good chance he'll play this week.

I think I have to bring Nathan Brown in for Mcguire. Even though both miss one game out of the next two, I have 19 for rnd 19 so missing Mcguire can be covered anyway. Not having Brown is proving to hurt my side.
Mcguire may also play less mins than usual in rnd 19 as well (as was the case after origin 2), or even miss it entirely.
So yeah, I'm sorry for Browns 37 points this week.

Re: 2017 NRL.COM Fantasy Thread 55
The good: my team is worth over 10 million now
The bad: I went down in the rankings to 186th with a score of 884.
More bad: only 12 players this week unless I use trades and I only have 7 left.

My ranking went up to bang on 100 despite captaining Lolo. I feel so lost without CS9 in my team.
Only 10 players for me this round but a full strength 17 next round. With only 7 trades remaining, it feels a bit greedy to flip Munster/Slater to a Panther just for 1 extra gun for this round. I think its a must to have a minimum of 11x 40+ players this round?

You could put the vc on Surgess/Crichton but who would you captain in the remaining 3 games. Maybe Taupau/DCE/Merrin/Cleary/N. Brown/No one from the last game. You would think Surgess or Crichton would outscore any of those options.
I think Tolman looks a decent captain pick week if you have him. Almost certain to play the full 80 and unlikely to have a heap of demerits against the Knights. He's surely good for 55+ which makes him pretty safe if your VC of Crichton/Merrin/Taupau doesn't work out.

Would he need to do a lot of tackling against the knights though? Look at how E. Taylor scored, they play a similar style.

This is a fair point. Although the Bulldogs attack this year is so bad I still can't see them putting on a heap of points and running away with it, espically without Klemmer/Jackson/BMoz.

Selling? For $500 you're giving them away. Double it and add ten.

Smith Hodgson
Taupau Brown Vaughan Hoare
JDB LOLO Gallen Fui Chichton Stimson
SJ Munster Feeney Fields
Turbo Aubbs Scott LeBrown
RTS Slater Hayne MWZ Phythian
I got 337k with 5 trades left should I make trades this week or wait to round 20 and trade MDZ to Mansour?

I'd be more looking to upgrade Fui after the bye rounds. $337k can turn him into Fifita via Brown or Taupau then you have the added flexibility of Taupau/Brown switcheroo if you need it.
RTS, Slater and Hayne all potential keepers in WFB. Not sure why you need a fourth.
