I am also contemplating this. Hayne has a track record of improving after origin each year doesn't he? Last few rounds he has definitely stepped up his scores. Would be a ballsy move to go Hayne over Trbo though.White Lightning wrote:Do we think Hayne will match the scores of T-Trbo at 106k cheaper.

Different players coming in but u have the same conundrum on which of those 2 to sell. It's doing my head in. Munster could kill it in a few games, and Slater doesn't seem to have as higher ceiling, but the extra Munster cash is handy.
I also think it will be harder watching Storm games not having Munster as opposed to not having Slater.
I can't bring myself to sell either personally. If I had to pick one to sell though, it would probably be Slater.

I am still looking closely at the Ross Dog.

I might start from scratch again this week, but I figure this fortnight will be moving rounds so want the most amount of points on the board and see what Round 20 onwards throws at me.wolfking wrote:SI wrote:

How many players do you have for this week before trades?

Is everybody holding RTS? I guess I don't have a choice as I only have 3 trades left really want to trade him to a half though

RTS to Walker is my only trade this week. Might go Lolohea to DCE or Turbo yet though. If I only had 3 trades, yeah, I'd probably just hold him.

Honestly, why are people jumping on Walker. Yes, he has the potential to score like he did against Panthers, but the Panthers were such trash. Like, a few weeks left in the bin trash. Maybe he has discovered his form again and I'll be proven wrong.

I think for people flush with trades that are looking to make up some points by say trading out a Munster, it makes enough sense. Also consider his average to start the year was quite good and he's currently underpriced if he's going to get back to that form.

Pretty much. I always wanted Walker earlier in the year as a Souths fan and was going to bring him in the week that the contract stuff came out and I avoided luckily. I have enough trades, he's a bargin price and Bunnies looking on the up so just hoping he performs to his potential for the rest of the year.

An additional four weeks? Has his recovery time been extended? I thought the original recovery period was set as four weeks? Shit. I'm glad I didn't trade him in a month or so ago like I originally planned.Onthebeatpete wrote:should I get rid of James Graham or hold onto him? Still another 4 weeks away?

As long as hes at fullback I don't see him as a risk. I plan on keeping Hayne and if anyone is getting upgraded to Turbo it will be Leilua.

Even though Crichton is playing after moon boot scare I've switched VC to Surgess
-21 in negative points last week, no TBs and only 114m but 15pts from try and TA
Thoughts?

Is there anyone else you can put it on? Surgess last 3 game average vs the Roosters is only 44 (44, 48, 41). His overall average vs the Roosters is 39.9. His last 3 game average at Allianz is 48 (44, 60, 41). His overall average at Allianz is 41.Loomer wrote:Even though Crichton is playing after moon boot scare I've switched VC to Surgess

I'm definitely going Surgess over Crichton.
I'm even thinking of throwing the C on Kaufusi.
