This is the CTR pairing of my Eliminator opponent... looks like luck is on my side this round

Early 2014 against the Dogs in Perth. Back seized up in the warm up.

Slater slips, if he doesn't slip it hits him perfectly. It's rough because of the condition Slater was left in but let's not go OTT. It just went bad.

I don't think he's a dirty player but he has always been reckless even back in his days of the Roosters.
Why is no one else talking about how late it was?

The other factor is that we all know the decision is always swayed by how bad the injury is. Whether that's right or not, that seems to be the precedent they've set and it didn't come in to play this time around for whatever reason.

If he was sin-binned for it, I would've thought yep, fair enough maybe it wasn't a red. But only a penalty? Very surprising given how things have happened over the past 2-3 years.

Yeah I would assume most captain Smith week-to-week so it's not the end of the world but those who captained Crichton, Gallen etc would be pretty chuffed with themselves.
Also, those that need to potentially trade Slater atleast got a 50+ score out of him before he went off.
