First Wigan Vs Hull for their R2 ESL clash at Wollongong Saturday 10th Feb

Then the 2018 NRL season will kick off with an international double-header confirmed Saturday 17 Feb. Hull Vs Dragons &
Wigan Vs South in a double-header in that order at ANZ Stadium

So iare the ESL vs NRL games part of a world club challenge, or just friendlies.

Its not actually the season kick off in any meaningful way s it?

ANZ stadium release. Didn't mention WCC. Are trial games considered part of the season o the indigenous game, or does the season start round 1 ?

Yeah timing wise this would be the WCC and it was discussed this year that they might be playing it over here in 2018.

Sounds good but the only query I have is why this isn't being played at the home of Rugby League (Lang Park)??

2 teams from a lower quality competition playing 2 average NRL teams for pre-season bragging rights. Meh.

Id rather they play the 9s or bring back the WCC and actually play for something.
