3rd last round... Rev got caught nodding. Such a dick fail. I didnt choose an alternative ressie over Surgess. Would have chosen Cappy, but will now get Watto's 11. Get faaarked.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 64
Hey for what's it worth I reflect on my hasty departure from here and I can see I made it in quite a ticked off mood and it wasn't one of my better moments.
I'm not thin skinned per se just passionate. That league is a 240 person group that's part of a community I've been part of for a long time and winning it is pretty much the sole reason I play this game. To lose it in a year I finished as high as 5th in overall after a round just really annoyed me.
Still ranked high at 23 overall currently but only 2nd place. That's all I'll say about it.
Used my last trade on Surgess to Vaughan which was a welcome time to get rid of him although I wish I had done it sooner.
Captained Pearce on a whim which worked out surprisingly well. The gun forwards scored more but he did outscore Smith and it's always fun to see a risky C option work out. That bought a bit more enthusiasm back to things.
On 896 with Edwards, Taupau and Tommy Turbo to go.
Well that's how I'm doing. I'm not unconvinced I shouldn't give the game up but still 2 rounds and 18 games for me to change my mind. Cheers and my apologies.

Currently 740/11 with Taupau, Lane, Cleary, DCE, Croker & D. Edwards to play. Hopefully I get a decent score. Averages have me at 1,025 but we'll see.

Good to see you back JBG. We all have those moments of being really pissed off but as you say a mini break does the trick. You're still killing it in overall so well done mate.

That is one hell of a score. I'm guessing you don't have Munster or McInnes? Either way go hard for the magical 1000

For my PODs to flourish really need the Raiders to tear the Panthers a new one.

Hard luck mate, I did a similar thing last week. I put Munster back in thinking he'll be right to play then when he wasn't I swapped him for Mansour but forgot to hit the save changes tab. End result I missed out on Mansour's 76 and got an AE of 22 instead.
Stuff like that really gives me the shits especially after putting up with Mansour's crap scores for so long and missing out on his big one.

The fantasy site being a dodgy piece of shit is reason enough not to get too invested in the game. The same myriad of problems year after year and the only improvement this year is the NRL being a bit more strict on team lists. Way to go FailHub.

To be honest I've never once had a problem with my team not saving.

I've previously had problems with the app saving (then again maybe that could be contributed to being in an area with poor reception?) however Ive never had a problem with the website saving. Maybe because I double tap save just to make sureLiverpool_Bulldog wrote:To be honest I've never once had a problem with my team not saving.

Double?
I hit save 6 times, close the app, reopen to make sure it saved, then hit save a further 4 times.

Don't forget to join a H2H league, so you can use the View Match-Up screen at anytime to verify changes have been saved.
There's a lot more issues with the site than just it's broken save.. feature?

Good to see you still around mate. Everyone gets a bit passionate or flips their lid/has their moments. You're clearly not a cunt so I reckon most would be keen for you to stick around here for a wee while yet!

I got caught out last week with app not saving. Thought It was on Smith only to find it on gallen with his lowest scoring round. Hurts bad when your pushing to break the top 20.
