Get in there Rev lad, yes mate if the 1.30 runs down it auto sets you to autopick.
edit your own pre draft player list, that way your higher ranked players will get auto selected if the clock runs down!

Introduction - In the comments box USA Coltboy has a go at Resident Noob for picking Rodgers so early.

Rev (defender of all in need) - so they should just pick the ranked guy next right, A-class lemming !

I usually leave kickers until R3 mate....

I might have to do auto pick as I have to work tomorrow morning.

Tip for anybody planning on auto-picking due to silly real life commitments like "family"...

The AI behind the draft will do a good job for you, but they will fill your starting team out before moving onto the bench - this means a kicker in the 8th round, without fail, about 7 rounds ahead of when you need to get one. Not a terrible problem to have, but its not great.

You can get around this by manually ranking ~200 players, most of whom own mother's don't even know what team they play for once you get past the top 75 or so.

Or - if you don't have the time or patience to do this;

My Team > Pre-Draft Rankings > Edit Preferred Positions.

Uncheck the "all" box for round 1-14. set it to QB/RB/WR/TE/DEF.
Uncheck the "all" box for round 15. set it to K

Done. You will now take the best non-kicker available in 1-14 and only a kicker in 15. Change it to round 13 or 14 if you're feeling spicy and want first dibs at kickers.

Or just be happy with the patriots kicker in round 8 - there is something to be said for having the guy whose right foot is directly linked to Tom Brady's ability to get into opposition territory.

Similar to season long fantasy with a salary cap but its just for the week, or day or just even one game. Pick your team based on salary and they score points almost the same scoring as NFL.com. You can play in a tournament or just a small league or a head to head. Cost an entry fee but can win big if youre good enough. Last night i entered 3 teams in the Broncos/Cows game at $15 each and come 4th winning $525. I normally only enter 1-2 teams but they had a promo that if you beat Wendell Sailors team but didnt finish in the prize money they refunded entry fee for up to 2 teams.

Hopefully there are a few guys here who play and we can talk about what players we think will kill it that week.

Move was absolutely shithouse actually @Welshy. But that's life. Movers had double booked us so we got shifted meaning I am currently driving home after the movers didn't come til Tuesday. Wife was happy, she booked a few days up the snow, me not so much, now I gotta try drafting quick tomorrow before driving 12hrs... Gonna be interesting. Don't even know if I'll have internet yet til I get to a hotel. So if I autodraft you lads know why. Lolz. Life's best plans and all that right?

that just means he's messed around with the draft settings, in our case, he's changed our draft order from random to pre-determined, it's still in snake format, the 'draft info' tab has it in there
