Have to say, been an unreal league this year in terms of competiveness!

    5 teams at 7-5

    1 team at 6-6

    3 teams at 5-7

    1 team at 4-8

anyone in bottom 4 can be relegated, anyone in top 5 can take the league, anyone at 5-7 can still sneek into playoffs!!

I have definitely enjoyed this season more than last, I have watched more games and read more articles than ever. Both leagues are so close and it's been great to have been a beneficiary of circumstance and have been able to play a part in both! Still a learning process though, making wrong 50-50 calls, getting lucky on the waiver wire...or unlucky as the case may be.

Looks at the injuries to elite level players this year....

    DJ
    OBJ
Elliott and his suspension although we all knew it was coming
    Rodgers

rookie studs like Hunt, Kamara, Fournette Cook before the injury

been a great season so far

    DT. nope

Dez is a red zone beast. Take him any day - although off the field he's a wanker.
Thielen is the best route runner this season.
Jordy had 300yards and 6TDs in 5 games before AR12 blew out. Harsh to say thats "past it".
Fitz is matching his career numbers this season, he's not past it. And hes the best blocking WR going around.
TY does what Allen does, better.
Hopkins is a top 5 WR.
DT - 5 consecutive 1000 yard seasons. hasnt missed a game since 2011. KA is a better route runner, no question. But DT is better in the red zone, better off screens, better blocker and doesnt break down. KAs career is 49 games, 288 catches, 3544 yards, 20 TDs. Same time period, DT is 75 games, 456 catches, 6087 yards, 39 TDs. DT has put up more pure stats and more stats/game. And he's actually on the field more.

6 team playoffs - 1 more week of regular season, 3 week playoffs.
4 team playoffs - 2 more week of regular season, 2 week playoffs.

Thanks Shannon, can consider a trade. Looking at your team, your WRs are stacked... how did you end up with both A.Brown and J.Jones?

Ha, wasn't proposing that trade - although happy if Shannon wants to offer it! Just couldn't remember how he ended up with both (69 points combined last weekend!).

Yeah by all means JJones statistically disappointing this year.
Id take him over any TE though.

Has he? Only 2 games less then 60 yards. His production floor is absurdly high.

In Fantasy terms I'm gonna say a little disappointing.

I would have wanted to see him in the Hopkins/Brown bracket of (fantasy) production.

Instead he's a tier down with the likes of Jones, Cooks, Allen, Thielan, Green, Jeffery, Adams etc, albeit at the top of that list total points wise.

I've drafted him both seasons I've played NFL fantasy. This time it was an autopsic though on a default list. I think he's single handedly won me a H2H each year but outside of that nothing particularly special. His floor is pretty solid though and to be ranked 3rd in total points of WRs with only 3 TDs all year speaks to that!

Simple equation in L2. Sitting in 7th, 1 win out of playoffs. 5th and 6th playing each other, a win and I'll draw level with and leap frog the loser based on tiebreaker. A loss and I'm out.

Second highest scorer on the week, only to lose to the top scorer.

Perfect metaphor for the season. Points For - 2nd (with 2 games remaining on the week). Breakdown - 72-45. Record - 5-8. Harsh game sometimes.

My bad bro. My last minute change to McCown paid the most dividends. Would have 15ish less points if I had stuck with Carr
