Will need to see how new squad rules work but could open up some new strategies.

Wondering if the bench is "open" it might be worth stuffing it with hookers and relying on a couple of cow DPP wfb/ctrs and frf/2rf to cover injuries in the first 13.

Not sold on Klemmer I’d say he goes back to starting frontrower like he has been pushing for and plays less minutes

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
[quote="danseels1985"]Had my first go at a draft team and came up with this:
Smith Garvey
RCG Scott Evans
Harris Klemmer Murray Cartwright Butcher
Thurston Watson Hastings
Chambers Milne Opacic
Nofoaluma Tedesco Hiku 212k 212k
40k remaining [/quote
I'm considering RCG myself. I think he'll have a big 2018 the way he's gone in 2017 culminating in playing for Australia.
I just had a look on a Panthers forum & a lot of predicted teams & comments predicting Merrin will play prop in 2018 with Carty at lock. I don't know if the coach has come out & said Merrin will move to prop or whether posters are just favouring this move because they want Carty at lock. These teams also have Tamou & Merrin starting props & RCG on the bench. Something to monitor I guess.

When you’re right you’re right Random. No one should bother with him everyone should look elsewhere

I don't think 533k is that high when you compare his price to all the other 2fr's.

But he is coming into a packed group already with Burgess, Sutton, Fuimoana, Turner, Clark and with Cook and Farah as well possibly slotting into the 2RF for stints.
Fair enough he probably ousts Fuimoana, Turner and Clark for a starting spot, but that doesn't take into account Crichton.

I put Murray in my draft teams for @Welshy's sake...
Not sure it he's going to end up in my final team.

With Surgess rumoured to be in the 2nd row or front row, C. Murray will be starting lock & will be a gun in 2018. We saw a glimpse of his potential at the end of 2017.

Wonder if the Roosters will cut Josh Curran from his 75k contract so then they can afford Merrins 900k contract?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
NRL.com has a predicted list for the Broncos next season
1 Darius Boyd, 2 Corey Oates, 3 Jack Bird*, 4 James Roberts, 5 Jordan Kahu, 6 Anthony Milford, 7 Kodi Nikorima, 8 Korbin Sims, 9 Andrew McCullough, 10 Matt Lodge, 11 Matt Gillett, 12 Alex Glenn, 13 Josh McGuire. Interchange: 14 Sam Thaiday, 15 Tevita Pangai, 16 Jayden Su'a, 17 Joe Ofahengaue.
Anyone think Andre Savelia has to fit in there somewhere, at least as a benchie, or is he signed purely as cover? And can Tagatese bump anybody out?
