Just have a gut feel about Jordan McLean. I don't have stats to back it up. Someone talk me out of it.

Ah right. Yeah a gut call. Just could have a break out year. You know could score like 52 tries like Vaughan last year.

McLean has solid numbers for the minutes he played, he was just getting ~30mins toward the backend of the season. Cwoboys forward pack is stacked but surely he finds at least 40+ mins there and improves upon his average

The more I think about it, the more I feel he will get 50 minutes which with last years ppm (if you care about that stat) improves him from 36 to 43. A big call given the pack. I've seen predicted benches without a bench hooker or only Asiata as a utility which I think is very unlikely. There will be a utility. I think Scott only gets 40 now and Lolo has a slight decrease on the extra he had to do last year.

Granville can't play 80 in my opinion. Did Asiata spend any time at hooker last year?

Not as far as I can recall, which is why I think it's fanciful. Without checking has played a couple of games in the halves when we were desperate but never hooker .

agreed, his style is way to explosive to maintain to 80 mins

Yep he won't and I don't want him to either. Bolton as good as he was, was busted all year and will go back to 30 minutes. One draw back with McLean is I think he has a good chance of playing for the blues.

Scott will be cheaper and although he’s coming back from injury he’s a proven fantasy gun and will be looking to make his mark early in the season. Can’t talk anyone out of picking McLean but there are other forwards that are probably better value
