He may be from a fantasy perspective but I’ve watched this guy come through the QLD cup and it amazed me how a you can get all that way and still be genuinely scared of tackling the big guys. He blows me away, he’s obviously very physically gifted don’t get me wrong that’s why he’s there but his attitude is like a 9 year old boy were he loves running the ball and scoring tries but hates tackling and is genuinely scared to tackle big guys.

Well that's a worry. Hopefully he's improved in that area for Seibold to mention him as a round 1 bolter

Maybe he got some nut implants over the off season but he’s always been sort of lucky in the fact that he plays wing. With Souths being known for being so soft out wide I’d be really surprised. Be good for us for fantasy though he can find the try line better than most and is a cheaply priced dpp.

Hymel wasn't dropped, he was re injured as he didn't feature for the Bears for the remainder of the year either.

    b) how many minutes Cook will get rd2
    c) how many minutes Cook will get rd3

Sorry you're right. I found an injury report with him out with an MCL strain.

I still don't think he'll make the 17 though, apparently he was shopped around as well

If that’s the case Souths should just throw in the towel now and save their fans the pain. It’s soooooo well documented and proven that they’re marshmallows out wide and Hymel was the only pepper in amongst it. Hope you’re right for fantasy sakes. My bro (die hard Souths fan) won’t be lol.

If they go with a backline of Inglis, AJ, Gagai, Graham, Kennar
Excluding AJ the others played a total of 6 games for Souths last year between the 4 of them

Whatever problems that backing may have, a copy of the previous year is not one of them

Like I said Hymel gets the run when not injured..... just hasn’t been too much of it. Crazy not to he hits like a forward.

What’s happening with hookers at sharks? Who’s getting the bigger minutes?

    Amongst other things:

    Player: Hymel Hunt
    Club: Souths Sydney Rabbitohs
    Position: CTR
    Cost: $310,000 priced at 21.2
    2016 average: 32.2
    2017 average: 21.2
    2017 minutes average: 75.1
    2016 minutes average: 74.5
2016 round 8 pectoral, 2017 round 1 concussion, round 3 four week suspension for high tackle, round 15 broken finger.

Hymel burst onto the fantasy scene come TLT R1 2016 and made his way into a fair few fantasy squads, 2 scores in the 40s with tries in his first 2 games gave coaches a rookie priced CTR scoring option we all dream off, he played his next 5 games for an average of 36 points to make quick cash and provide solid scores, injury curtailed his season until R22 where he produced a 5 games average of 29 to close out the season .

2016 avg minus injury games: 34
2017 avg minus injury games: 23

    Wrap Up
Hunt couldn’t follow up his debut full season with anywhere near the same scoring he achieved the year prior, again affected by injury, Hunt will first need to crack the starting spot to provide any value at all, with the addition of Gagai and GI looking to be playing CTR, Hunt will likely have to wait for his chance back in the first grade

    Predicted 2018 average: 20-30
    1.5/5

Hunt was the first one I thought of when Kennar was brought up. Who knows with Souths, but can't be anyworse than Madge last year.
