Fair enough. How's you're guns and cows thing going this year?
Doesn’t really work mate!
Completely changing my game for hopefully better not worse
Currently have Cam Smith, Tapau, McGuire, NBrown, Teddy. Basing around that

Agree with this quote. Seeing lots of references to “trap”. Someone like Peta Hiku simply can’t be called a trap. He is sub 300k when there is absolute dross at the price bracket and he has some history of posting ok scores. He’s just cheap and hopefully is what it says on the tin.
It’s all about expectations... Traps should probably be a term limited to tempting mid-rangers who are priced nicely but actually have no real high scoring history or former guns who are just not guns anymore, irrespective of price (Hayne?)

Murray and GI?

Yes Hayne could be a trap
I think Evans is a trap
I don't think Hiku is a trap, or J Croker for that matter... I don't have high expectations of these players but think they'll make some coin

Slade Griffin caught my eye. Any knights around to suggest he might get an extended run with no backup hooker?
My thinking was that he’s the better player of him and Levi and he might make the role his own with Knights having unprecedented (for them) bench options in he forwards

Could be OK, but I get the impression the Cleeland is not going to start the season; and that Hiku could be a waste of cash; and Croker the next Elgey. The other three are in my side. Others I am considering are Leilua and S. Katoa (if he is ever named on fantasy). I don't really know much about about the Broncos, but from the write-ups over the past few days it seems like Payne Haas could be an interesting proposition. Does anyone actually think we will play Round 1?

Slade Griffin is in my team if he starts.
Even if he plays only 40 to 50 minutes as starting hooker he wills score well enough for a decent price rise and DPP. What is not too like. Look at last years stats!

Next to no chance he plays 80. Buhrer or Levi will get a run.
I think there is some value there, but Lichaa and Cook look better value for mine

And yes the DPP
I’m focusing my 14-17 on DPP.
Currently; Cartwright, McGuire, Griffin +1 is my template
Gives me 3 backup backrowers and for free HLF/FRF/HOK
