I was thinking at the time the Tigers did well to offload him, but the dog's fans seem to reckon the Tigers are paying a lot of his salary. Anyone know what the deal was?

Reading the Kennel a week ago they were all high-fiving themselves about the Suli signing, how smart it was, he will be a great pickup, Holland was shit, Brenko's defence was shit etc. They are all blowing up royal today!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
How does this look, re-jigged it a bit
Smith
Lodge, JBrom
Harris, Brown, Murray
Watson, LCroker
BJ, Milne
Tedesco, Ponga, Hiku
Cook
Lichaa
RFM
Cartwright
Garvey
Kikau
Opacic
Katoa
Can move Hiku alongside Milne and bring in WFB for less than $576,000 but I think BJ goes back to the offloading, TB load this year

Would Tapine on that edge be better or worse for BJ?

Well that's what I've done. Looks good Welshy. I can't get on the JBrom train but he could easily prove me wrong. I don't have Harris but I keep trying to get him in. I don't have CS9 but other than that is very similar to mine.

@ Welshy. Your starting halves could really cost you. Watson could be a lot like Keary in his scoring & Croker could bomb as well. There could be weeks where the both of them score 20 points each.

True but via the bench he could bring in any of the 18-21 to replace Croker, Raiders hooker or Kikau could go alright?

If Watson is Keary like I expect, around 35 average is fine for someone priced at 27
Croker aslong as he isn't an Elgey he should go around 25-30, early season I'd take that no problem

You could bring in Garvey and play Cartwright in your halves (not changing selections, just swapping them around). You don't need the dpp really because you have another 2fr on the bench. So the question is, would Garvey/Havili score better than Croker? I think probably.

Someone posted on a Souths forum that Murray has a hamstring problem & that's why he isn't playing in the trial. Has anyone heard this.

Actually yes I read it on the Souths forum last night but couldn't find it anywhere else and then forgot about it!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
Could be worse with regards to the defense, but part of that is going to come down to the halves situation. I think the stats showed BJ and Austin were the two worst culprits on that edge whereas Whitehead was very effective so its debatable as to whether Tapine will be just as effective and even if he is, how much direction and experience Whitehead gave out there which could be lacking. Same could be said for attack, Whitehead is quite creative and dangerous in his own right, but i think ultimately Welshy has the right line of thought in that if BJ's scores are going to go up or down its most likely going to be 90% his own doing, regardless of any external factors around him.mulvy wrote:

Cheers mate, always appreciate those willing to slot into the worse ladder positions just to make my rank look that little bit better. The bonus is that your handicap is country of birth so i don't have to feel too bad about it.Welshy wrote:
