Good lad, we really need a bet thread so we can keep track of these things over their lifetime.. if only there were a friendly mod around to sticky one . But alas, those are rarer than hens teeth, only regular posters around here!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
1. Townsend 2. JRey 3. Watson
Exactly in order of pricing, although all three are a touch underpriced for a variety of reasons.
1. Cordner 2. Harris 3. Whitehead
Perversely though, Cordner is probably the worst pick here though with injury concerns and rests throughout Origin it's hard to see him as a season keeper. I want both Tohu and Whitehead in my team, but currently only room for one and it's Tohu every time.
1. Edwards 2. RTS 3. Nofa
Wests are going to score zero tries over the first five weeks.

Finally catching up on the nrl.com fantasy podcasts and it is really weird that Steve Turner was invited to this podcast. He doesn't seem to actually know Fantasy.
Just because Josh Jackson can play no.9 on the field does not give me the ability to move Josh Jackson to my hooker position. At least teach him the rules before he comes on the podcast. v.v

Surely it should be more like golf, lowest score wins.Welshy wrote:

1 point if you get the rank of a player correct but +1 point for every rank they are out.
So for example if you had a player ranked 1st, if they come 3rd you get 3 points, 2nd you get 2 and 1st the 1. If you had someone coming 2nd, if they come 3rd or 1st you get 2 points, otherwise you get the 1 etc.
That way you're not only measuring how many you got exactly right, but how much you were off on the ones you got wrong.

Seen no interest in Agnatius Paasi. Twice the player that Bodene Thompson is and a real shot to inherit that role outside SJ. One to watch for sure

I was looking at him the other day mate so I went onto the Warriors forum & the comments seemed to indicate that Kearney wasn't that impressed with him & that he could possibly start on the bench. It seems Kearney was raving more about Pulu & that Pulu would start rather than Paasi.
