Just built myself a zero in the bank team. Must be a sign. A sign my centers are absolutely rubbish.

Smith (in every revision I’ve done)
Graham Lodge (I’m flip flopping graham vs Tapau. Lodge nailed on)
    Brown Murray Arrow (Template backrow)
Croft Watson (points for value pairing. Would rather Watson 14-17)
Milne Hiku (doubt I will start this light in such an awful fantasy position but both are squad must-haves)
Tedesco Ponga Hayne (yesteryear guns Hayne and/or Dugan will likely get me in as DPP of choice)

    Lichaa (value)
RFM (how did I get sucked in to such pre season booming)
    Cartwright (bench must have)
Paasi (where the hell did you come from... ahhh DPP FRF that leaves 0 in the bank)

    Garvey/Havili
    Croker
    Kikau
    Katao all pretty standard 18-21

Interesting article on Ricky Stuart's thoughts on the halves and dummy half roles.

Got to keep an eye on their trials to see maybe S.Havili won't be worth it.....................

Kaufusi try first leg of my multi. I hope Croft can set him up against that Leeds defence.

like it mate, plenty of potential value there but I don't like the Hayne pick at all, he was shit last year and can't see him going back to the old plane in the CTR spot

RFM I don't think you can go wrong with if named to start TLT, new regime and already pegged as a starting backrower, has big money making and scoring potential for so cheap

The thing is, its going to be difficult to tell how Ricky will use the bench based on the trial as it sounds like he just wants to see as many combinations as he can. What you'd ideally want to know is how long that third half might slot into hooker for (because three halves out there might take away from each other in things like KM, even if one is at hooker) and whether the hooker is a straight swap or pushes into the pack to spell one of the forwards for a little bit. Also its Ricky so its a 99% chance he changes it week to week. I kinda want to try put Sammy in my team (he already is actually) but the more i think about it the more i feel its safer to avoid them all and just pick up whoever the starting hooker is (although even that might be the thing that backfires in week 3 when he for whatever reason changes it).

Interesting to say that about a trial..

*post not to be taken too seriously. I do have fun looking for those pre season quotes about "playing 80"
I read this as "I'd really like to avoid fat camp, but i think the other lardies would too so it might be a fight for minutes".

12 interchanges, so not sure how much we can learn from minute splits.

I love this time of year. Any one who does anything in a trial, particularly a televised one goes straight into everyone's team, even if they've just spent 3 weeks rubbishing them
