I just watched the first half again. Under the normal tackling criteria, McInnes made 29 tackles in the first half. None missed. Effective tackles. Often 3rd man in around the legs, but tackles that would have been counted last year and any year previously. So, either they have changed the criteria or they have seriously fucked up. If they have changed the criteria, I pity you smith owners.....or will they treat him differently? Time will tell I guess.

Milch. Do you actually watch the games or just look at stats? I’m serious.

been cursing hospitality all day for being a cruel mistress that takes me away from my footy, but caught enough glimpses of the tv's around the pub to realize it was just trying to protect me this time, though i'm an idiot who will watch the replay tomorrow morning to see where it all went horribly wrong

special mention to fanhub for having a whole off-season to overhaul and by Round 1 only just managing to get functionality to the point where we can place some pictures on a white background with a couple youi logos plastered on it and nothing more.

Legit it's bloody appalling isn't it. Months to prepare. No stats centre. No match centre. Decreased functionality. I assume whilst it may not be high priority for them, they do have a project manager in charge of it. How many KPI's is that guy meeting?

It's really bad, isn't it? For newbies a big pull to fantasy (even to RL itself) is the experience of following the ups and downs of all the stats as they watch a live game. It's probably what got me hooked when I started fantasy. That and comparing players with easily available data on the fantasy site while building a team - this was before I knew about Milchow's work (well, what newbie would?)

They've got all their new players settling down to watch the game, and they've completely blown it on both counts. In any line of business, if you're not confident you can deliver the replacement project on time then you have to stick with original and - if you're using contractors - they face the penalty. Otherwise the trains stop running.

Now that i've logged in on the laptop, i concede to Fanhub i may have been hasty, that's not all they did, they managed to code in the pop-up warning that the free trial of coach is about to expire and that i should hurry up and pay them to keep it active!
