Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
Not going to make any trades this week other than Katoa to a cheap WFB/CTR for bench cover. However, guys I definitely have my eyes on over coming weeks:
HKR
Smith, obvioisly, but also AMc - Hopefully some price falls... racked up the tackles as usual when actually on the pitch.
FRF
Taupau - Same as last year. Offloads every other carry. Potential for 80s
Woods - Didn't score amazing, because Storm, but two hit ups a set and always looking for offload
Ese-ese - Same hard running, more minutes.
2RF
Nobody completely stood out. Taumalolo gonna Taumalolo and already have RFM/Griffin. Of other possible guns, Merrin is a buy, Brown a not sure JDB inflated by try, Crichton might not actually keep place, JTrbo allergic to contact, Mannering not there.
HLFs
Cleary, SJ and Munster should be your end-team halves. Not going to be able to afford them anytime soon, but Munster is best value.
CTR
Whatever, they're centres. Roberts, Aitken and Gagai looked like they can continue to be the prime CTRs. Blake and Hurrell, on one week's performance, look like they might join them. I have GI and Mitchell and have to give them four weeks because they might too, I DON'T KNOW THEY'RE FUCKING CENTRES.
WFB
Have Tedesco (hold but ugh), Ponga (yay!) and CWalker (great footballer when ARey isn't stinking up the Souths attack) so no changes, but Edwards continues to quietly look a gun, RTS is playing in a team willing to attack, and Mbye is no longer playing for Hasler. On Mbye... we all wondered how he would go at FB and the immediate answer was "fast". Only 41 points but it was against Storm, and he's on my hot-list.

So looking for 50s then are we? Thought he would do 60 in the middle and spell Tapine on the edge, let’s hope that continues

Got a try, but if he stayed in the middle I think 50's is quite achievable on a casual basis.
Well, if they ever register him in fantasy and tally his point. Fuckers better fix this.

Mate it was more than that. He was leading the chase after every kick. He was just every where and always started pumping the legs after he was tackled to try to get a few more metres. I think he topped the tackle count for the game too

I took the punt on him in my side. Looked dynamic running the ball back. Hope he kicks on.

Think it was a good choice. He was in a lot of my sides but didn't pull the trigger and went with Cody.

Early mail:
Dugan to FB (Holmes to wing, and one of Ramien, Gray or Lee to replace Katoa)
Leilua may be dropped
TPJ to the bench (Thaiday to start)
McCullough to start
Keary to return
Morgan to return
Slater to return
Tapine to miss at least one game with broken finger

Don't hold your breath waiting for a reply from them.wolfking wrote:
What the? You don't think this will be fixed? I just sent these fuckers an email.
Gave me 711 points but should be 732 and would move me up a few rankings in my work league.
My missus sent them 3 emails on Wednesday and Thursday when she couldn't log in to her team.
They haven't responded yet.

After the spray Mattie gave the Sharks Holmes will probably go to the wings thus saving the coach's
face with Dugan going to fullback and Katoa into obscurity for now.
