$72k itb - katoa/Hiku look like trade out candidates, TKO I'll give another week.

Could turn Katoa into Thompson/Isaako, move Kennar to CTR and sub the newly traded in player to WFB, while Hiku sits his ass at #21 and covers WFB/CTR injury/suspensions.

Or could get both of the above and dump Hiku.. But if you can save a trade it'd be handy and Hiku at least has pretty good job security.

haha if Tapine was out for a long while I'd consider it again if Whitehead had a permanent move back to the edge, because I'd back Lichaa to outscore him on points per price basis

    You making any changes pal?

I was really happy with Whitehead yesterday and happy starting with him. Tapine going down is a kicker as it looks like he'll go to the edge, but I'm certainly not going to jump ship on him, he was fantastic yesterday.

    I don't understand all the talk on Thompson not retaining his spot. He ain't losing his spot. MWZ would be out first before Thompson. For me this week;

    Katoa - Thompson
    Havilli/Nicholls - Kikau

or even SST to Kikau to get some coin, but can afford the above, although Havilli and Nicholls have more money to make.

Think so yeah. Matulino -> RFM/Griffin/Rochow (the reverse Welshy perhaps?) and then punting Katoa as far as i can.

Unsure on what to do there though. I kinda want to spend my bank on a CTR and move Kennar down to WFB but i KNOW i'm going to want some of that cash for week 2 for a couple of other blokes I'm giving a second chance to. Not sure i want to be forced into a downgrade come week 2.

I just did it, Tanginoa was their only bench prop at the weekend and they only played 2 of their bench. When Lussick comes back, he keeps his spot. He was awesome in the trials.

There was talk of Lloyd Perret coming onto the bench too so he might not be far away, especially since they didn't use LBrown.

You don't know though him going back to an edge role probably now guarantees him 80mins now. You never know sticky might have subbed him if Tapine hadn't gone down injured

We both find ourselves in the same predicament then really, fixing the CTR/WFB slot with a keeper or risking on some of the lower priced R1 WFB/CTR retaining some solid scores over the next few weeks

I can pretty much get anyone in (CTR/WFB) for under $660,000 if I go the set and forget CTR/WFB route by replacing Lichaa with them

Watching him closely, I personally don't think so. I reckon he might have played 80 in the middle. maybe Tapine might have subbed off at 65 for the game and Whitehead moves to second row, who knows with the changes yesterday.

The was up on Tapine's injury might help the decision on Whitehead by tomorrow night.

Lolohea got lucky that Nofo got cut?

Lolohea’s spot was never in danger. Cleary poached him for the FB role to replace Tedesco. The rest was all talk from forums and Facebook, based on one trial where he was considered ‘overweight’. Lol. It’s called motivation. Plus, he’s their goal kicker.

Thompson is fighting Nofo and and the Zelda for a spot. Also, he’s there for depth. He can cover wing, FB or centre if needed. I’ve got both of them now, but I’m 100% that Lolo stays at FB. Not only that, I reckon he’ll kill it there. All this shows is that Cleary is stamping his style.....i.e., play well or get dropped. Lolo was great for them last year and looked the goods on the weekend. He’s a natural fullback.

Papalii sured up his position a bit on the weekend but still a risk. I haven't checked where it went a=wrong for Nicholls score yet, going to have a look at his stats now. I sold Alvaro last minute so Nicholls and Lodge are my current Props Embarassed
