Only way I see that happening is a complete backline shift after this next four weeks. ARey and Doueihi halves, Walker shifts to FB, Inglis centre with whoever else and wings AJ and Kennar. To me that’s dumb AF. Maybe he moves to the bench but Cook is playing 80 and coach on record saying he doesn’t want a dummy half rotation.

You are the one I didn’t want to embarrass. lol! since you stuck your head up.....Walker running the team. Hahaha.

    Please.

Come see me next week when Doueihi is man of the match and Souths win by 20.

@Rabbit fair. He said he would. Agree with off the cuff play but honestly if ARey out encourages him to run the ball more and take a stand that way then I’m all for that. Happy for Doueihi to gun it as we can all bring him in but I just can’t see it being long term this season.

Murray and Doueihi will be the reason for Souths making the top 4 this year. Remember a kid called Keary? He came in with 4 rounds to go in 2014 when Souths were struggling. I called us to win the premiership on his back. It was exactly what happened. I’m predicting the same for these two kids. Maybe not a premiership, but you’ll see a different Souths now. Reynolds has been a liability for 3 seasons. Injury after injury. He didn’t even play a trial this year and was shithouse last week. From the best defensive half in the league, he’s now a turnstile. Every coach has the same game plan....belt Reyno after his first kick and he’ll be cooked. Works every time.  If and when he does come back, if Souths are winning, it will be through Reggie’s.

@Rabbit I honestly agree with what you’ve said. For some reason ARey is the golden child. Like you said it’s been obvious ARey disrupts the style of play you want to play. Hopefully this is the shift because it’d be shame to waste the squad you’ve got for the ARey obsession.

When is Reynolds off contract? Brisbane could do worse then make him an offer to partner Milf.

@Rabbit I've been meaning to ask a bunnies fan something, what did you think of the Reggie and Luke interaction over the weekend? I bet there was no fraternizing with the enemy back in your day. Has "the hole" or whatever they're called organised a mass email yet, demanding the literal head of the mascot?

I'm with Rabbit, I think Doueihi will become the half and stay in the team all year. He will be this years Cleary when Soward got dropped.

What are people's expectations of Kikau.

Last year he averaged 14 as a bench player playing 22 minutes (coincidence? he scored a try in his first game of the year and then never again)
If he replicates that he'll make another $40k or so and then stop.

He really needs to replicate the big minutes he got last weekend (and ideally gran a couple of tries to be useful)

Those of us who panic traded him out last week are regretting it, but will bringing him back in give much benefit.

Milch, I feel your pain, I too switched to Havilli when I saw Kikau on the bench on Sunday. I too remember his absymal scores from the bench last year, but the way this guy plays now is night and day. I'm making it a priority to get him in this week even ahead of Doueihi which I rate so highly. I missed CHN last year and this guy is better. If Griffin wants to keep his job, this guy needs to be on the field for as much as possible. I'm 99% sure on using a trade to get him in, just have to figure out who for, SST, Lichaa, Havilli or Nicholls.
