Yeah, that's why DPP cows are so valuable as back ups, so you can fill the rest of the interchange with any position once you have other covered.

I would look at 2 for 2 trades. With a slight upside on each side. Also look at people who have low value after Round 1, but high potential. I.e. Cameron Murray before Round 2 teamlists were announced. Would have been a solid pick up.

    Cheers Random,

Already have Murray so that's a good start. Really want to move McInnes simce I have Cook. But no one wants to get rid of there good guys. So fristrating

Package McInnes with one your B-Tier or C-Tier players.

Trade for a significantly weaker HOK, and upgrade one of your B-Tier or C-Tier guys for someone on the same level but better potential. But yeah there is very little trading normally. I normally take a hit personally and lose out overall in the trade. But as long as it improves my team I dont mind.

Like this year I traded Peats + JWH for P. Wallace and J. Bromwich. Which seems like I would lose out prior to Round 1. As the JWH and Bromwich difference wasn't as much as Peats and Wallace trade. But it worked out for 1 Round.

Hmm. Was thinking downgrading Liu > RFM (309k ITB) but now I’m considering just doing a straight swap for Murray (still over 200k ITB).

Liu > RFM = cash flow but equivalent to two trades as RFM probably won’t be a keeper? Still early days.
Liu > Murray = no cash gain but most likely one trade due to potential keeper status.

Yep, I draft trade similarly. I don't mind looking like the loser of a trade if I get that one bloke I really wanted.

Dogs12 on Sportal was deadset the toughest trader to the point of being ridiculous.

You could offer the bloke your Smith and Tedesco for Peter Wallace and Kurt Mann and he still try to downgrade Kurt Mann to a bloke who hadn't even debuted yet Lol

Mate that would be a great Draft squad in a 6 man comp let alone 16! Well done. What was the time limit?

That is a really really solid group then. Especially considering most of those guys could become guns.

Should I trade Katoa when I've Kennar to cover him don't want to waste trades just put him in my emergencies.

60 seconds. It seemed everyone had auto pick turned on. The first couple of rounds took awhile but after that it was a bit frantic.

Who are some players everyone has there eyes on for when they finally get their debut this year?
For me it would be -

    Nat Butcher
    Greg Leillusioano
    Payne Haas
    Rhyse Martin

Edit: Maybe Kyle Flanagan too. Would be good to see Bill Magoulias get a run but that will only happen if Gal is injured or retires.

I’ll see how Gray goes this week and Nicholls. Might trade him for gray and move Kennar back to the bench so at least I’ll have have winger/centre cover

I nearly left Butcher in my 21 but decided to get playing players, could be Fantasy gold.

Personally I don't see it as wasting trades mate. Was discussed a bit yesterday and the first few rounds are for sorting out mistakes and missed opportunities. Id be grabbing the best Cow I don't have for Katoa, but that's just me.

He is constantly in the extended squad, was running around with the warm up squad before the game on the weekend and he looked solid! He will be straight in my team as soon as he gets a constant spot in the team

Might just go the 1 trade this week Katoa to Doueihi. He's at 13.1% ownership atm.
Not ideal in terms of WFB cover but might have to take advantage of his inclusion for Souths.
Was thinking Thompson earlier in the week but I don’t have the funds to do it in one trade.
Not sure if I want to move anyone on this early just to grab a started cow when I have most of the other performing ones.
Thank fuck Katoa didn’t drop his price below the minimum like players used to a couple of seasons ago.
I usually don’t like to carry money in the bank as I'm all about the scoring potential of the team.
This tends to restrict my trading which is sometimes a good thing.
I've found if you can get a nice low ranking early in the year its almost harder to blow out than
it is to drop in rankings later.

I still believe Dogs12 never actually played NRL Fantasy, just showed up whenever a trade game was going.
