So many stinkers in my 17 this week
    Maubbs, Rochow, Croft, Kikau.

I would be happy to make 700 tbh

Thinking Maubbs > Hiku to fund Croft > SJ

...Unless Moses continues to interest me today. He looked really good for the 60 odd mins he played last week.

I totally missed what happened with Maubbs (or Mubbs....whatever we're allowed to type...)

I know he got injured but how badly? Did he also get a position swap?

Just wondering why people are wanting to bail on him so quickly

relegated to the bench, then put at centre to cover an injury then copped an injury (looked like a heavy laceration) to finish his day, but personally its the first bit with a dash of the second bit scaring me away from him, Aubbs needs to be an 80 minute backrower to put up consistant scores, any less than that and he is not worth his price tag

He started on the bench (Matterson took his second row spot), then came onto wing/centre to replace Tupou when he got injured. Did he also get injured at the end? Didn't see the whole game.

Basically everyone suddenly remembers that Aubusson owners get stuffed around by his versatility every year, and it looks like Matterson might have his starting spot as well.

can only offer opinions on the storm/tigers game.

was a low scoring affair beacuse of the windy conditions + high error/penalty count + benji game management kicking for touch for even more breaks in play.

croft looked bad. could be a mix of tigers pressing up in defence in the middle of the ground but there is no excuse for doing fuck all in the red zone where he should be a specialist. he depended on munster and a returning slater to do the creative stuff.
had a few runs but the tigers had his number the whole game.

thompson looked good. his ability to stop on a dime and then take off at speed contributed to a few tbs. loves to duck for a sneaky tb here and there. played at fb which may have infalted his score due to extra carries

marshall looked good as a general/ thought he would have more points in fantasy. may be a smoky to keep spot even when jrey returns (maybe no.9)

smith had a quiet one. not sure what to say here, didnt have much impact fantasy wise. the game was played down the storm defensive end mostly. tigers outstormed the storm

I think i feel unnecessarily happy about the Tigers win. Only link i have is that when i was about 5/6yo i would say i like the Sharks and the Tigers, but the older kids made me choose one. Hence the life i have led as a result of being a Sharks fan, hurties......

    Would be happy with 700.

I wonder if anyone out there has this line-up

    Smith (44)
    Latu (10), Scott (21)
    Gallen (28), Surgess (31), Crichton (43)
    Croft (23), Munster (33)
    Maubbs (11), Inglis (14)
    Holmes (-1), Dufty (28), Edwards (35)

    Papali'i (2), Kikau (24), Nicholls (13), Rochow (14)

Captaining Smith gives that team a grand total of 417 for the round.

Remember, don't panic - IT COULD BE WORSE!

Happy I only have 2 of those players (Kikau and CS9) and CS9 wasn’t my Cap.

I'm 611 with Ponga Jturbo Griff Havli to go.

Similar to alot in that Murray is the next target. Not sure for who though.
Have a slightly shaky idea of sacking croft for a half or wfb for cash generation, with Cwalker in my squad to allow some shifting around.

Only 670 with Ponga and Griffin to come. In terms of my scoring 15 so far, pretty much the same but ponga and Griffin won't score the same this week.

Was originally trading in Douaihi/Thompson with money in the bank for upgrades but somehow ended up with Rochow/Dufty.

    That worked out well haha.......
Even if I feel Dufty got ripped off with some points, doesn’t matter when all that counts is points on the board.
Will see how he goes next week, have bigger fish to fry right now

Though have decided to get back into sports betting having had a taste of all the different comps(but not settling on one). Think I enjoy the Draftstars scoring the best and the seems to work alright.
Even managed a second in warriors/titans game .
Might focus more on that this year as Fanhub has dampened my Nrl Fantasy experience a bit and still get to scratch my fantasy itch.

Anyways should be a couple good games on today

Agree @Boozy, its midway round 2 and we still dont have a basic app that is why we play. If the forum didnt exist in the form it is, i would have pulled the plug.

I enjoy both. Got a bit carried away with DFS last year, but sticking to just putting one lineup in each contest and enjoying it a lot more this year (plus winning a bit, so that helps). Big AFL fan as well, so looking forward to that getting underway this week.

The DFS stuff still can't match the season-long contest in terms of strategy (yes there is still a lot of luck, but nothing like in daily contests), and an ongoing connection to the players in your squad.

For me the app issues don't matter, but that's because I have a shitty old iPhone 4 that can hardly run any apps and I spend way too much time on my laptop so run everything from there.

Need a big day from Leipana to hit 850 with Rapana as captain and stay right up the top of the table overall.

I'm fortunate, all my players are ahead of their BE this week, except for Crichton, but I think he will come right. Want to make no trades this week and ideally next, then re-evaluate. Got to start saving trades when the team is looking pretty good overall.
