Will have Arey to play next to instead of Dough Boy. Will look much better again. Been unlucky with scoring this season. Should improve from here and plays 13.

If Cam Smith averages 50, he loses about $80-100k from here, and eventually settles around $750k

If he averages 55, he'll drop another $50k, and get back to his current price before origin.

It has been a long, long time since Smith has averages less than 60 over a season.

If he averages 60 you have a month to trade him back in at his current price or lower.

Last week's score was a once-off. He won't be sin-binned in a game with 60 stoppages again any time soon.

The only thing that makes me even slightly tempted to get ride of him is whatever injury is stopping him from kicking. If he is not kicking it robs him of too many points a week. I doubt there is going to be much reported on it given how secretive Melbourne are about injuries, so really its going to come down to a guess

Any interest in Adam Elliot? Priced at 25 average and should get 50 minutes or so at lock for 35 points.

The Burgers news does make Murray as C a little more attractive. Hesitant to shift the C off Cam though as Murray was on 38 until that last minute try and Cam obviously an anomaly to go sub 40.

Murray should play 70 and is a very attractive captaincy option

NRL Physio has said if grade 2 then no surgery 4-8 weeks
If grade 3 then surgery and 8-12 weeks

BE of 31 so you could wait a week as well to see how Elliott goes

Yeah 8pm start for Rabbits, so the heat should be less of an issue for the forwards.

Awfully tempting. 60 for Murray and 75 for Cam wouldn't be too painful if I did shift the C.

Reversed the Katoa/Gennings trade because I realised I can use JMK to cover WFB and will have to start Croker for a week or two.

Will probably do the Brown/Arrow trade but CS9........I dunno if I can do it. I can't really afford McCulloch and I don't know it is worth trading to someone else. I still think the Storm will click into gear.

I'm fully expecting a backlash from Cam a big score and all the hahahaha told you so comments and rule #1 baby jibes to start back this week

But for my team makeup he is the one person who activates all my other trades and stiffens my positions of weakness greatly whilst still adding some extra cash to the bank

Trades this week I'm getting rid of CS9, N. Brown & buying DCE, K-Nik which leaves 213k to bring in another gun ctr or wfb. I could go B. Hunt or Koroisau instead of K-Nik but the option of K-Nik leaves a good bank balance for upgrades.

    Cook
    Lodge, Arrow
    Jurbo (c), C. Murray, RFM
    DCE, K-Nik
    L. Mitchell, Isaako
    Tedesco, Ponga, Thompson

    Griffin, Kikau, JFH, Rochow
    Havili, Doueihi, L. Croker, Kennar

    Thoughts & thanks.

I'll be one of the first and most prolific with posting such trash Very Happy

It is starting to make more sense for some to trade him though given the team make-up. Even if you have two hookers scoring 10 points less than Cam, you could make it up and then some by having a DCE, SJ or whatever instead of Croker/Doue/JMK/Maloney etc.

Yeah 75 and 60 I could handle, but I'm gonna be pissed if Cam gets 60 and Murray 45..

    Smith
    Lodge, Arrow
    Murray, RFM, NBrown
    LCroker, JMK
    Dugan, Inglis
    Dufty, Tedesco, Ponga

    Cook, Kikau, Griffin, CThompson

    Havili, Cartwright, Kennar, Douehi

Am i Being stupid if I don't trade?

Would love to see off Carty but can't afford anyone I am comfortable with in the halves without making a second trade.

    Thoughts? Options?
