I really really really want to hold Dufty as well. But he just makes me mad every time I watch him. The kid has shit load of potential to become a fantasy gun.

I'm still hopeful Dufty will average close to 50 for the year. But you get 100k in the pocket bringing Thomson in and if he stays at Fullback then could average 50 himself. In saying that he is averaging better on the Wing, but 3 tries involved. He has 10 'genuine' TB's playing Fullback which is a good sign.
I reckon I'd take it as a luxury trade.

Yes mate but with MBye and me taking a plunge on ARey last week I don't have a hlfs spot open currentlySI wrote:
Are you still looking at Matterson Welshy? I don't know what the fuck to do in my halves. Currently Niko/Maloney/Croker. Half of me wants to ride the week out with Niko and Maloney to watch Pearce. But then Matterson is also getting away price wise for a bloke who may not play 80 every week.
running the gauntlet and gettin CScott in for Doohicky and relegating Isaako to bench

He just didn't look right last week, so here's hoping it was the hits he took. In saying that, the week before he was in everything the first half and then disappeared.

Yeah, I grabbed him in the Draft this year as I missed out on him in Fantasy last year. Hopefully comes good with a anew Storm dynamic.

I'm a nightmare for going for an underpriced player instead of ponying up and paying top dollarBBowler wrote:

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Should have gone Carty to JFH last week, but was too focused on having the cash for Cotric available.
If Brown had played earlier and had the injury news in advance, it would've been handy, but shit happens. Schedule fucks you like that sometimes.
Normally would hold Brown if only 2 weeks, but I ain't got time to fuck around, so Brown to JFH for the cash and seemingly ~50 average tackling lock.
Don't want to get rid of Doueihi. But between him and Croker, it seems Croker's got the best chance to make cash in the next couple of weeks. So Doueihi to Munster.
225k in the bank to turn Isaako into Cotric next week perhaps. Might have to think about Kodi to Matterson or Pearce too, both could be good pick ups. And Rapana as always still on the watchlist.
(C)am
Fifita, Arrow
Murray, JFH, RFM
Munster, Kodi
Hiku, Kennar
Ponga, Dufty, Thompson
Cook, NAS, Kikau, Rochow
JMK, Isaako, Gosie, Croker.

Katoa named in Ressies today.
Thanks SI. Do you reckon he'll come in for Edrick Lee next week? (unless Lee sets the house on fire with his performance).
It's interesting that Feki hasn't been named in Ressies. I assumed he got dropped due to form- but maybe it's injury related. Then again, Edrick didn't play reserves either last week.

Any interest in CHN? Has 4 weeks while Blake is out to take back the second row spot. We all know what he can do when given a chance. Priced very cheap for his potential

Scott, Rapana, Holmes all on my radar as "cash out" options with hopes of returning to form

Hiku and Kennar may actually be the top 5 CTR's for this year?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
I've got to get rid of S.Williams and sure up my halves.
Team before trades is:
Smith
Arrow Rochow
Murray JFH TPJ
Williams Maloney
Cotric Mitchell
Tedesco Ponga Thompson
Cook RFM Griffin Kikau
Lodge Havili Isaako Doueihi
Thinking I need to jump on Johnson now as I ideally want him and Cleary in my final 17. To do that I need to cash out one of Lodge, Griffin or RFM. I'm a bit worried that Gosiewski could be a dud so am thinking of going Lodge or Griffin > Katoa for the cash to fund Williams > SJ.
Good move or not?
Or anything smarter you can see with my team?
Cheers!

What's the thinking with Katoa? He isn't even named?
