If it makes you feel any better, you're a couple of hundred spots higher than I am.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
Random off-topic question:
Seeing Fraser's avatar (old-school raider) - what is the reasoning behind the Raider as Canberra's mascot? Is there a heap of Scandinavians in the ACT or something? Or is it just from that era when clubs were trying to mimic the US leagues (Brisbane Broncos - i'm looking at you)? And if that's the case, still why "Raiders" (don't even really understand why Oakland/LA are the Raiders in the NFL, but at least they're on the ocean so a pirate makes some sense) - surely there's more locally appropriate options.
Canberra Marinos
Canberra Lakers
Canberra Capitals (name wasn't in use when the Raiders came into the comp)
Canberra Jazz (following the precedent set by Utah of having the least appropriate nickname)
Canberra Senators

My gut feeling is that Fifita won't play.
Full disclosure: I don't have Fifita, I don't like Buzz and I have watched all the twilight movies except for the first one.

Canberra are the Raiders because they stole land from NSW.

You piqued my interest so i went on a search, best i could find was this from Wikipedia:
"The initially unnamed team decided to adopt the name "Raiders", which was coined by the media in reference to the team being the first based outside Sydney since the old Newcastle team left the League in 1909."

With SJ out and DCE (potentially) in trouble, I'm reconsidering my Doueihi > Su'a trade and wondering if I should bring in Cogger instead (just for HLF cover)
I know bugger all about him though - anyone give me a quick summary of what to expect from him?

I got into fantasy purely because I wanted to make watching games that didn't include the raiders interesting. This is my first season playing for overall.
Love watching all games now, except the ones that include the raiders, coz man, they are hard to get behind at the moment. But hey at least we aren't the eels. I digress. Im loving watching each game, thinking about strategies of players, and thinking beyond who is a good player and who is a good fantasty player.
Although, it makes going to the pub on a Friday more frustrating, coz I cant follow the game, banter with the lads, banter on this site, complaints on this site, scores coming in, the TAB, Indian Dreaming and VB.

Even if DCE gets suspended. I don't see Manly suspending him for the game this round. He'd be left out of a squad named on TLT, potentially next round.
If I owned DCE, I wouldn't be worried - not for this round at least.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
Ok so I'm torn. Wanting to bank trades this week but also wanting to cash in on TPJ.
Here are my options:
1) TPJ --> Rein. Bank a trade and the remaining cash but commit to keeping Sao in the emergencies for the forseeable future...
2) Sao --> Rein. Bank a trade but risk TPJ losing value and delaying trading him out for a week.
3) Sao --> Rein, TPJ --> Su'a. No banked trades (again) but solid cash out with two other money makers coming in.
Any ideas? I'm struggling to pick...

There is zero chance DCE is suspended for this weekend. And i doubt he will be at all.
