Can anybody recommend anywhere in Clayfield or Suncorp to watch the Warriors before the game though?

Thundering here at boggo rd at the moment.

To watch the first game, head to caxton hotel. Hotel LA will probably be showing it across the road as well and a bit less crowded. Or you could go to paddo tavern.

Newstead brewing aint a bad spot (next to suncorp) but unsure if they have the footy on in there (id assume they di though)

And if that's the case, still why "Raiders" (don't even really understand why Oakland/LA are the Raiders in the NFL, but at least they're on the ocean so a pirate makes some sense) - surely there's more locally appropriate options.

    Canberra Marinos
    Canberra Lakers
Canberra Capitals (name wasn't in use when the Raiders came into the comp)
Canberra Jazz (following the precedent set by Utah of having the least appropriate nickname)
    Canberra Senators

Eh ? I always thought they were the Canberra wagon wheels.

I love the Cax, everytime I go down to Brissy for a game or event you gotta go to the Cax for a brew or two.

    WET WEATHER FOOTY

Lodge - Will be monitored and playing conservatively with injury i think. Ball playing prop. Will pretty much be a run straight and hold the ball kind of night for Lodge. May get the odd OL here and there but if its wet don't expect many to stick. Will be relying on base stats tonight. May have a few MT's in him with JBrom, NAS, Glasby, Kasiano running at him in the wet.

Su'a - Due for 50+ minutes I reckon. Can hit a really good hole and burst through. May find a LB and a few TB's tonight. Not one for base stats so will pretty much need Broncos to be attacking for a fair amount of the game. Wet weather may suit him.

Lodge for a usual 32 tonight and Su'a to hit around 40-45 I reckon.

@SI I bought him that week, that was stupid in itself -52 from memory in dream team negatives, Maloney would be proud. I may be mentally retarded but hey not even i would captain him!
And I may be getting senile as that is the 3rd time I think you have had to remind you only played him, didn't actually Captain him, haha. Must have been Krumpy's mate I keep thinking of.

For those who aren't aware, this is one of the reasons why we can't let people join the Overall after Round 1 lockout. Thought it might be a good opportunity to explain. ArsenalBroncos (The Far Canal) joined the League through the year and ended up being crowned the winner even though DK was the actual winner.

I just have a quick question. How many teams are there in Leagues 8 and 9?

Pain threshold diagnosis based on a tweet. Even NRLPhsyio would have been proud of that Very Happy

If TPJ is benched I think its a more clearer indication on his minutes maybe. Would like to keep Rochow, 80 minutes and round 13. Should bounce back. I'll take a starting TPJ over him though I think.

    I have a curly one.

I am thinking of bringing in an Bukuya for Cartwright.

He has been scoring well above his breakeven and should get increased minutes in a depleted Shark's pack when he comes back next week...

I did not get my trades done for the start of the round this week so I need to get rid of Cartwright and Doueihi.

A added bonus would be that I would also get well placed 57of Marshall-King just sitting there doing nothing.

Am I a hypocrit? I need a 2nd rower and Bukuya would fill a hole plays round 13 and would probably score around 40 consistently. It is not a sideways trade, and I predict he will score around 40 per week for the rest of the year.

Also, major POD with only 0.6% ownership

Feel free to go for the jugular

Bakuya is a gun, I rate him highly but minutes were always the concern. He's not even playing this week is he?
