Manly fine players over Gladstone curfew breach

At least it's now totally confirmed that Daly out for Origin...not that he was really a consideration.

CS9
Arrow Kikau
Murray Jurbo RFM
DCE Jacks
Isaako Mitchell
Turbo Ponga Thompson
Cook TPJ JFH Havili
Gosi Kennar Sua Katoa(hopefully he is named)
313K and 25(2) trades remaining. If TPJ is named to start I want to go Havili to Fifita (Will need to make second trade to afford) so was also looking at Kennar to someone 385K or below(preferably someone cheap(280K or lower) so I can still have a bank to trade Jacks, Isaako, Thompson in the coming weeks to guns/middies.
I think Kikau, RFM, JFH, Sua, Gosi will all be players looking to trade once peaked around origin time.
Cheers mate
Nice to see someone take a gamble on Jacks, that's different. He's going ok, a big score or two and he could really kick on. I traded out Kennar this week also, used all my bank to do so though.
You have plenty of options you can play around with mate, could leave Fifita if you wanted to do a one trade move with Havilii and get a second rower in your price range but the Fifita move is definitely appealing at the moment. Otherwise, could easily double trade by bumping Kennar to one of the others I mentioned in an earlier post.
If Kikau keeps going the way he is he could easily play into keeper status mate, no urgency in getting rid of him at all. He just needs to consistently hit 45+ and then throw in a big game every 3 or so and he'd be fine IMO. JFH I''m going to watch a bit more closely over the next two weeks, he's been trending down a little which is concerning.
Gos gonna be a real slow burn but I think you can hold there for a bit, especially considering the fact that you are pretty stacked elsewhere. I feel at the moment that everyone is getting a little light in the cash generating department (myself included) which comes about due to there not being a whole lot of viable cows.
In short mate, I wouldn't stress too much this week, make the double that you're looking at. It's about all I would personally do.

Thinking - Havili > Cogger and Rochow > fifita - hold TPJ another week see what his situation is like. Or alternatively dump TPJ and Rochow. Already own sau.

Thanks for the insight pal. Seeing Fifita in my team is welcoming, have brought in Sorenson also but not 100% convinced yet. Thinking on getting another cow next week to make a big bank for some moves to guns in the next 2-3 weeks. Cheers MCMearcats wrote:

With no Gallen they might have Bukuya on the bench to come on and play middle to interchange with Paulo. Sorenson could possibly see 80 mins again

Think I'll bring Sorensen in this week - cogger can wait a week or two and either he or lamb (whichever the Knights go with) can be my Maloney cashout.
Only issue is that if I want Sorensen in my scorers I'll need to lock him in before the Broncos game - if I have him as an emg I can leave the trade til Sharks final lineup is confirmed

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 34
I think the only thing that has been keeping Rochow in teams which is his minutes are likely to disappear this week. Team composition just changed. Now have an 80 minute lock in Taylor, Aloiai gets minutes from somewhere and have 2 props on the bench. Expect Rochow to get 60 minutes with that bench, so he is going.
Time to take some risks that most won't, only way to get things moving upwards massively on the table. Going to take a shot at Lino continuing to play week to week, scoring well each week, averaging 50+. No-one else will be getting him in because he is week to week, will just keep increasing in price. Even if he doesnt play some weeks, can loop him, will also get Moses, Eels finally turned a corner. Load up on halves to loop each week when Lino isn't playing, take the good scores, miss the bad ones.

I got the day off with no plans mate so I'll have a squizz.
I'm just going to start with a list of trades and the order of priority I'd have them in and then we can flesh it out from there.
Croker, Doughy (if named on bench), Kennar, Isaako/Havilii, Nicholls and potentially Widdop (depending on how you rate him).
Ideally, you want to be buying high and selling low. So with that in mind (and the homework you've already done) it would suggest that now is definitely the time to get off Croker. As for who for, it's up to you, but personally, I'd be wanting to generate some cash. All of your bench cows are towards the top end of their ratio. And you need to build some bank with the thought of bringing in some guns in the next month. Maybe you should look at Cogger (risky as hell though as we've recently been discussing) although there are others out there that may be worthwhile as well. Everyone at this price has an element of risk but there is upside to each. Sorenson, Nat Butcher, whoever comes in for Parker at Manly (likely one of the Wrights)or Gelling.
Not saying any one of those players would be a great pick up but each has potential upside, is in the bottom price bracket and should make money, unlike Croker who is set to lose money. Question is, will they make enough to justify the trade?
Sorry for late reply, had to make my work transfer.
See red above, now i see where i have been going wrong.........
But really, thanx heaps for advice, just reinforces my dilly-dallying, as you say in Blue.....
Adam.

One week for a calf at his age? Surprising. Doesn't make Sorenson a great pick if Lewis is back next week imo.

Have to run with my Dugan trade this week. Can't fit Fifita in this week with such expensive cows. Hopefully next week we get a cheapie.
Suas job security probably means he's the best borderline cow.
