The Dragons were better but some atrocious decisions hurt what may have been a better game. Klein needs to go as a dominant ref and what pisses me off about him the most is he can never have the courage of his convictions and always goes to the video ref. He is a spineless example of the ref we need to get rid of to improve the game and the enjoyment of fans. I admit I am a Roosters diehard but you guys watched the game like me.

RyMat is probably the best half in Fantasy.

Agreed. Even better get rid of the video ref altogether. How refreshing is it watching games where they don't have one, like some trials or nines. Never hear anyone say "I wish we had a video ref here". What if refs called it how they see it? The good ones would remain in first grade and the others wouldn't, just like the players......

What if they had some kind of review system like in cricket or hockey. Ref calls what they see then the sides can review shockers. Probably take just as long but at least it gets the refs actually making spot calls.

I still can't believe I don't have Matterson! Not just fantasy, the guy is just everywhere and easily wins the race between the Energizer and Duracell bunnies.

I would be all for that. How many times have you seen someone held up and wanting to go back and play the ball, only for the ref being the only one who wants to review it? Likewise all these guys who get up fist pumping, doing their best broadway act when they know they haven't scored it, they wouldn't challenge those no tries in that situation either.

Because he started off in the god damn halves and has played mainly off the bench since (Utility)
But he won't get DPP next year Smile

Imagine if he was playing 5/8, but kept up the tackle count in the middle of the field on defence, plus all the kick meters and attacking stats. captain material every week then

Is Mitchel the best centre in fantasy at the moment?

RyMat would make a great origin bolter at this rate. Really versatile, strong tackler, covers halves, center, forwards, basically playing in defence as a front rower anyway.

Lucky to get half this year though.

He was a half in 2016 but in 2017 he split time between 2nd Row and Centre. If anything he should be 2RF/CTR this year

Not sure considering he didn't play a single game there last year. My guess is they figured he'd be OP as a CTR and for whatever reason decided he had to be dual position at something.

Compare with Munster who's played his whole career at FB. Played half the season at FB and the other at 5/8 last year, started this year at FB, yet doesn't have dual position..

If refs "called it as they see it", not only would Nene's 100% "no try" be awarded but so would Dufty's 200% "no try". And we'd all be wondering why they couldn't use video.
