Not sure if Haas will make enough money to be useful or score enough points. Or will you just be killing off a spot hoping he might play in one of the bye rounds?

Ryley Jacks is slowly and steadily making me some good coin for a jump to a fallen Cleary or SJ soon

Can anyone give me a rundown on the game? I know he scored 2 tries and only got 33 but he missed a chunk of tackles for someone who is normally very sound in defence. Surely the last 3 games and 3 wins has definitely locked in his spot at half for a while.

I'm personally expecting a slightly better output from Griffin with Pearce gone, either from kicks or just being required to defend more as the Knights lose his ability to control the game.

On the other hand, even though they're both big risks, I think Sorenson will make a lot of good cash and scores and will be very valuable in round 13, whereas Haas will struggle to get game time and points for most of the year, despite being an absolute weapon.

Sorry for the useless advice I guess

If I have to play them in my 17, surely Rein the better mix of cash and points than Sorenson? I would see either to be a stepping stone to Jake Friend in 3 or 4 weeks

With players due back for the Sharks around week 11/12 unless Sorenson absolutely guns it (in real life) surely he's not that relevant for the bye round.

Friend would have to seriously turn things around though right?

ON the plus side he went back to 80 minutes last night (first time all season and first time over 50 min since week 4), but he only scored 41 in those 80. A decent amount of tackles but other than a few negatives basically nothing else stats wise.

He was on my radar for a good round 13 playing hooker but since week 4 he's not really shown anything to suggest he should be picked up has he?

Peats return could be as soon as 2 weeks or as late as 5.
Sorensen (if starting this week) has 3 weeks or as much as 5. Plus one Origin game with Graham out?

Rein to average 50 ish (BE:-1)
Sorensen to go 40 ish (BE: -20)

Both are gonna make some serious coin based on those averages (100k in the next two weeks).

    Rein is more expensive (411k)
    Sorensen is cheaper (294k)

Gut feeling is Sorensen gets a few more weeks (Origin + Peats being back at least 1 game quicker than Lewis/Gallen). Means he'll make more cash if you trust his 1 game sample size for base stats. However, Rein will give you more points while Peats is out. If you trust Peats initial prognosis of 4-6 weeks then I'd take the points from Rein for 3 games (don't really trust Sorensen to play in the 17 - much rather him in EMG).

TLDR: Yeah Rein over Sorensen for points and cash. IMO Sorensen should make an extra 50-80k.

With the way the byes are Rein to Friend for a round 13 player then hold friend until rd 17 and trade him to a keeper that plays rd 17.

Friend had those 3 games where he played 40-50 minutes and his tackle count was way down as a result (~30 from ~50), so if he starts playing 70-80 regularly he should be good value purchase over the byes after he bottoms out.

His kick metres are way down from last year though which I don't see changing unless Cronk gets injured, so he probably isn't a keeper

Yep Rein to Friend to Macca is my basic plan.

I'm gonna go Rochow to Sorenson and skip Sua. Havilli I'll hold I reckon he can still be value somewhat.

I think Friend might be back. He found 30 points in the half he played before HIA in round 7. Only 40 odd points yesterday but that is probably his floor- Roosters had so much posession in that game of you compare tackle counts across the board to previous weeks, even Matterson would have been in the 40s without a few attacking stats. Obviously a wait and see anyway but i feel he will start breaking 50s again from here on out, and priced at 40 he could be a great pickup

Last 2 reserves out of Thompson, JMK, Sorenson, Gos, Isaako

Atm I'm thinking it's out of JMK, Sorenson, Thompson. JMK just missing out.

    Thoughts?
