Was thinking Aitken and Maybe Mitchell.?
I had Dugan, but he is injured..

Aitken and Mitchell so far this season.
Marsters could potentially be up there.
Maubbs would be good if we knew he was locked into an 80min role.
Roberts has been one of the best in the past but hasn't hit the mark this year.

Asking for a mate in regards to their team fellas.

    Smith
    Fifita Arrow
    Murray JDB Kikau
    MBye JKM
    Mitchell Isaako
    Teddy Ponga Thompson

    Cook RFM JFH Rein

    Soro Gossie Kennar Croker

They are wanting to go Norman in for Croker which can be done in 1 trade. Or other i thought of would be

    Gossie - Haas
    Kennar - Matterson

With 1K left. Dunno if leaving no coin is an issue with bench, although 17 is very strong. Any other thoughts guys? Play JMK and wait a week? Cheers.

There is going to be some really regretful Haas owners after this week. 20 minute bench prop makes some tackles and everyone wants to trade him in.

Man I wanna bring in Martin (if named).

But don't want another Sorenson situation so soon.

Really wanna bring in a gun, slowly been going backwards over the last couple of weeks.

What's the attraction with Corey Norman? Couple of good scores and people want to jump on the bandwagon?

I started with Mitchell and got Aitken in round 3 and haven’t looked back it’s nice not to have to worry about that position

Individually both are decent options and could easily average 35 each. This was popular a few years back when Albert Kelly and Aiden Sezer were close to base price playing for the Titans
Actually did it as I think they'll both make bulk cash but changed my mind on Watson and got a gun instead, having a slow start so another gun is needed more than a cow.

To be fair, we also jump off players after a couple of bad scores

I've completely thrown my trade ideas out of the window now. High level options:

    1) No trades. Hold Gosie -wait and see (yawn)
    2) Conservative one trade. Gosie to Cogger (most sensible)
    3) Cash generation re-ignition double trade. Gosie to Cogger and Isaako to Lane/Watson (this was my original thinking)
    4) Bring in another r13 gun. Gosie to Martin and Thompson to GUN (me likey now!)

Work is taking a bit of a back seat today....

Both Watson and Cogger probably end up on my bench anyhow.

But getting just Cogger doesn't give me the cash for the kind of gun I'm after.

I like the idea of having them both as well.

I am tackling the exact same problems this week. And at some point considered all of those

    Just realised I can do Gossie/Dugan > Martin/Fifita

Well right now it's Aitken and Latrell.. CTRs scores are always fluctuating though.

For me the set and forget CTRs taking past history into account are Aitken, Latrell, JRob and Croker.

Cotric and Croker both averaged 38 last year and a couple of big scores could see their 34.6 averages jump to ~40.

JRob averaged 43 last year and not a bad price at 540k currently.

Marsters is showing the ability to do it, but is his position or goalkicking as safe as the others? I think he's pretty safe, but getting pricey compared to the usual suspects.

Hoppa, Gagai and Nene don't get as much love, but could potentially score as well as any others. Gagai might belong in the top group, but a new team and playing origin, so won't be available Rd 13, otherwise might be talked about more.

I think out of all of those guys, only Latrell and Marsters will play Rd 13, with Latrell maybe at FB? But if getting them as keepers and not trading them, they'll miss Rd 17 anyway.

Oh and there's Ferguson..  but ehh.. just get someone else imo.

Dylan Walker is worth keeping an eye on with his move to 5/8.
Only a few games back from injury and was much more involved last week.
    Currently only costs 399k.

I like option 4. With the way these cows are this year they are scoring 50+ in there first game. So Gosie to Martin is a good one and then Thompson to a gun, although I would need to a WFB gun as I don't have back up. So would be Teddy

Dane Gagai has been putting up some really good scores and he is yet to score a try.

Think I'll hold Gosi even though selling him frees up cash but when he returns he will make cash, albeit maybe a slow burner. Isaako is the weak link but there's not much I can do about it straight away
    My team this week

    Cook
    Fifita TPJ
    Murray Arrow RFM
    DCE Matterson
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Smith
    Kikau
    JFH
    Sua

    Lane
    JMK
    Cogger
    Gosiewski

Hope my cows can build up some decent cash as I only have 30k but I feel like my 17 is solid once I upgrade Isaako and Sua/TPJ eventually

Long time lurker, 1st time poster.
I've regularly looked on here for advice and am currently at my best rank ever.
11th and in need of a 2nd opinion.

    My team is:

    Cook(C)
    Arrow Kikau
    RFM JTbo Murray
    DCE Matterson
    GI Dugan
    Ponga Teddy Thompson

    CS9, Rein, JFH, Maloney
    Sorensen Nicholls  Hiku Kennar

    $181k itb. 23 trades.

I am thinking of doing a set and forget for centre as it is a problem for me like many others...

Therefore, glass Dugan to Aitken and Thompson to CWalker or hold for a week as I have cover for Dugan (although only 4-6 weeks but most likely 6!)and have can have another week to look at CWalker.

Thoughts on these trades or whether I should be considering others?

Woah woah, you're 11th.... and you have ..... the audacity..... the cheek ...... to ask....... us here....... on this here forum ......... for help?????

Swap teams with me and I'll help Laugh 3 JK I'd trade Dugan out to one of Marsters, Aitken, Mitchell and save your second trade. You could go down to Ramien to save cash to upgrade Maloney and co next week but not the best idea. Pretty set and forget tbh... Thompson out for TTurbo once he leaks his last bit of cash. I envy you!

But I will be keeping an eye on him.
