Did Kaide Ellis even take the field for that game?
Fantasy has 0 minutes and 0 stats for him.
But it also has 0 minutes and 4 tackles for Trent Merrin
    A+

DCE is apparently on the outer with C.Smith, who lets face it, has the last say with the QLD SOO team.

This makes him a great choice to partner Matterson as your round 13 halves if you have the coin to sell

Maloney on the return of Cleary who will detrimentally affect Maloney's scores unfortunately.

Am I seeing this right as looking to find the coin for the difference in DCE's and Maloney's prices?

Is anyone really planning on having a full squad in round 13? I'm looking like I will have 14 maximum, and that's only if Teddy, Cook, Ponga and Mitchell all don't get selected for Origin which is pretty damn unlikely.
Round 17 is looking even worse.

You're not going to be playing 17 guns or even players in Round 13 (unless you're playing about 8 in Round 17 or have 28 trades left). It really doesn't matter if you have half partners or a blank at hooker... just get in the best keepers/scorers you can. I have DCE already, but personally when upgrading Maloney and Havili I won't be looking for ARey etc, but Taumalolo, Surgess, maybe Nathan Brown, because they're better keepers whatever the position. If you decide DCE is a better option than those then go for it, but not sure Rnd 13 partnerships is a reason to consider.

I can see Cook playing for NSW at least from the bench but I suppose the game plan is to run one less in Round 13... everyone has him.

Ponga, I reckon they'll take into camp but he's not going to be fullback in front of Slater or utility ahead of whichever one of Morgan/Munster/Hunt doesn't play halfback. Don't they release the 18th man to play club footy?

Thanks Rhinoceroo, I agree that Cook may be utilised off the bench if his form and health hold. Ponga is a funny one as some of the QLD backs look decidedly dodgy and his form demands attention.

Syandard responce after some random player goes large haha

Everyone realises Maloney is averaging higher than Arey since his increased role without Cleary right ?

They are essentially the same player in current roles, massive KM eating, goalkicking, tackle missing halves

Sound advice, thanks for your input Rhinoceroo. I tend to overthink it sometimes.

This game will explode in the second half and I hope Penrith take them to the wire. Lolo scoring well
without tries so far and the Cowboys have worked out that you have to nullify Maloney.

Dead set he is the worst. There were several calls even good for my guys that I'm scratching my head at even complaining about. Just grinds my gears!

Wish league dropped the interchanges down to six or even four this season. You can see some teams would be fine with that right now, othersmay struggle. Either way it leads to more open and entertaining footy.

I agree we want more open and entertaining footy, but reduced interchanges wouldn't be required if we let the game flow. It's an option but I would rather see everything we can do to reduce stoppages. The worst lately is the ref calling upon the captain of a side giving away penalties on their line and warning them, giving the defending side a rest and sucking the shit out of any advantage the attacking side has. It's not necessary. A warning isn't needed, or if you're hell bent on giving one, a pre-determined gesture, as suggested by our friend Andrew Voss is the go.

In super league there is a signal for when a team gets put on a warning. Ref does this circling thing towards the team. Works quite well. Would stop the break in play as ref talks to the captain
