Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 42
As a Capewell owner with Lewis lurking it's making me paranoid & the Sharks play the very last game of the round so there's no going back. My back up ctr is Isaako so hopefully by the second Friday game there might be more clarity but I'd say there will be nothing to indicate whether Lewis is in or out. I could play Isaako in my 13 & chuck Capewell on the bench if there is no news.

Cameron Smith - greatest hooker and captain in the history of the game. Will be an immortal.
Just proved himself a Prima Donna. Lip pout .....”you can’t bin me, then suspend me. Fuck you. Get your own origin.”
QLD’s hooker will be Macca. He has earned it.
Hunt half.
Morgan 5/8.
Munster FB.
NSW - 3 blot. Let the 10 year dynasty begin.
Fuck QLD
No way Munster plays FB with Slater still around. Morgan will wear 14, Hunt and Munster in the halves.
Macca has definitely earned the right to play hooker for QLD.
NSW will win the series 2-1, the next one 2-1 and then struggle to win one for another 8 years straight. Capiche?

With what we kinda know now. Does Kikow, Murray or Havili become Fitzgibbon/Crichton/Surgess, just chucked in other names for ideas?
Hard decision

Still lining up JMK and Havili > Lamb and Fitzgibbon.
Should I be worried about Kikau and Murray this week?
Why Havili? He looks like a bench keeper.

Or perhaps keep Ramien as my 2nd Ctr rather than upgrading as I had planned? Or compromise on my 3rd WFB to someone from the 2nd tier?
Getting 2 constant scoring centers is easier than 3 WFB. I'd go the Tier 2 WFB. WFB scores seem to have been more volitile. You pick a tier 2 with a good run into the finals in a team that's on the way up and you'll do just as well as having 3 guns

I don’t know who to trade out now.
Griffin is traded. So one more out of: Murray, Kikau, RFM, JFH. Currently Murray is the one but now I’m thinking Kikau or RFM. Goddamn.

My Thoughts - can someone help me if I am being ridiculous.
KiCKOW - He can bust tackles, so from the bench he could actually still hit his BE 42, or better. Not an urgent sell this weekend
Malony - I would assume for this weekend he will still do the kicking duties to take pressure off Cleary? Also a chance that Clearly actually goes back down injured. BE 41 not an absolute sell this week. But if Cleary kicks, then urgent sell next week.
Rein - BE of 15. I wouldnt play him, but not an urgent sell if you have other pressing needs. Also the chance Peats goes down injured again as Rein is a keeper without Peats.
Smith - Surely he should be a hold now (a 55 - 60 point keeper). You would think he would just get into work for Storm.
At this stage I am with you on all points.

NRL 360 tonight is basically a Smith tribute show.
Cool to see though, definitely deserved it..

Also, they talked earlier about who would fill the spots, basically just what was said earlier here. Mentioned Macca as hooker, Holmes maybe left wing as QLD have no GK.

Only two guys in my team who I'm happy to turf are JMK and Sorenson. Those two don't add up to any combinations I'm happy with unfortunately.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 42
Where should i go mate, CS9 retiring has changed my mind on trading him to DCE. Missing that extra game had me convinced I was dumping him for good but I've come around.Mearcats wrote:

my current best 17 pre trades are
Cook
Fifita, JFH
Arrow, Taumalolo, Murray
ARey, JMK
Dugan, Capewell
Ponga, Tedesco, Mbye
Smith
RFM
Barnett
Kikau
Havili
Martin
Cogger
Isaako
$143,000
I want DCE in but may settle on Koro as a POD and hope he goes on a run like he did early season
Early thoughts this week is a single trade of Cogger - Lamb
this means I don't have to start JMK who will struggle to go over 35 playing 60 minutes at hooker and Lamb should provide a cash injection and 35-45 whilst Pearce is out
or could go JMK - Lamb to build extra bank

I'd lke to bump this up as i stupidly posted it in a 'Smith gets suspended' avalanche
KiwiOilBoiler wrote:Fullas, i'd appreciate a few thoughts on this...
My team before trades this week has me first in my H2H at work, but a lowly 2158th overall so i'm looking to move up a bit.
Cook
Fifita Arrow
Harris RFM JFH
Widdop Matterson
Gagai Ramien
RTS Ponga Tedesco
Murray Havili Rein Martin
Kikau Nicholls Isaako Brimson
Im thinking Rein and RFM out, which allows a KFC upsetting Macca and Grand Angus shopping spree if i shake the piggy bank real hard!
Bbuutt.....whats the general feeling RFM vs Angus? $70 grand for 5 points a week (so far) worth the hollow feeling that cutting RFM creates?
