I think I remember this. I also recall others being shocked that the dozen other open tabs weren't porn or an excess of toolbars
I thunkded ahead!

Bugger, I was just reading that it is game 150 for him and thinking might put the C on him.

I'm pretty sure that makes at least half of my team that are now rumoured to be injured this week. Excellent

Captaimcy choices this week?
I think Cook and Fifita are the safe options. Anyone else is a bit of a risk

Who to bring in, Hipgrave or Brimson.
Need to generate cash for next week's upgrades, and they look like the best cheap options.
Every possibility they won't be traded out again, and will just be emergency players/bye scorers but points would obviously be useful just in case.

I got him last week for similar reasons, Brimson for me, the DPP half/wfb is a nice extra touch as a potential emergency call up.

Also regarding captaincy, It's all about Fifita for me going forward with these herculean efforts he is putting in. Not worried about Gal at all.

Thoughts on;
Maloney -> Watson
Rein -> Fifita
Watson covers SJ for the next couple weeks, and Cook for origin. I just can't see a half worth trading in for SJ right now. DCE, Cleary, Matterson have question marks on them IMO. Watson should give me 40 points average and cash over the next month.
Also, 3rd & 4th men on the bench out of TPJ, Martin, Kikau and Lane? Thinking TPJ and Martin atm..

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 43
Just thought id run through my thoughts regarding trades this week.
One trade for this week i'm pretty happy to go JMK > Lamb and pocket 90k and improved scoring (potentially).
Second trade is a tough one because Havili, JFH, Kikau, Murray arent exactly standing out as must trades this week, the plan though is to get in a keeper like Surgess, Fitzgibbon or Crichton with Rd13 in mind.
So to seperate out my options for trading out:
I think if you look at the guys with money to lose over the next month its between Murray and Kikau with their bench relegations making it harder for them to hit their BEs due to reduced game time.
Havili could still make another 50k before Rd13 hits and he can be traded, and JFH is a bit of a wait and see as well, in regards to his minutes and role with Cleary back and resulting reshuffle.
Murray also just needs an injury or suspension to occur to anyone of the three Burgess brothers, Sutton or Angus and he is back in the starting team, so it would be a real kick if that were to happen this week and hes back to his 60-70 minute role where he should average at close to 50 as shown in the past.
After all of this it just leaves Kikau which i'm reluctant to do due to his ability and high ownership numbers. Although if i want to catch up I would assume a lot of serious players will play Kikau
this week and if he does flop then my trade to Fitzgibbon could have a big impact on rankings. (After looking at his scores now im even more hesitant)
Only other player that can be traded this week is Sorenson but like i said there arent any keepers i can jump to while also getting Lamb (im pretty confident he can average 40 until Pearce returns).
As you can see im in a bit of a pickle.

You wouldnt trade Soro out to a nuffie or a deadball? Like ive done this week.
Of the players u list, id sell JFH if it means getting in a gun. He's not yet gun worthy, and if you can get someone in u feel happy with, he'd be my pick.

If one were to pop up this week, Niukore possibly then that's a possible option.
Although with Panthers up first my trades will be locked in if I go for JFH. Maybe his minutes are reduced this week with the team back to some normalcy, who knows.
Cheers for the advice bud

I'm having a similar conundrum, LB. I want to get rid of one of JFH and Kikau and it was always going to be JFH, but with the benching (and injury?) of Kikau, now I'm not so sure. You're right about Kikau's popularity, I want to still have him if he does well or it will hurt my team if everyone else has him, but it would be great to have someone else instead of he scores poorly.
Are there any Panthers fans or those in the know that might know more about Kikau's condition, or have an idea how the bench rotation might work this week?

Moley is claiming that RFM is in doubt with a knee complaint and will have to get past training first.

Yeah im sure the plan with JFH was to upgrade him when the time came. I'm not sure he's exceeded our expectations hugely. Serviceable but not a game breaker.
Crichton/Fitzgibbon have a reasonable floor and can go huge on their day. Picking the right gun can soften the blow hugely I reckon.
Ponga to out Fitzgibbon through again this week.
