Value (backs set): Rein + Soro > TTurbo + Teddy $223k

    Premium (sexy team): Rein + JFH/Kikau > Fifita + Taupau $25k

    What trades you looking at?

    Gotta love the sexy options.

    Dunno for me mate. inital thoughts were just;

    Kikau/JFH - Brimson
    Havilli - Fifita

Not sure as you said if it's worth it though, but I have a bit of bank sitting in my EMG so probably should do another upgrade. I'll probably post my team tomorrow to hopefully get some thoughts.

How could anyone in their right mind pick Koro over Cook for the Hooker spot.

Cook is the best hooker in the game right now.

So I was technically correct when I traded him out because I expected I’d be able to get him back in cheaper after he returned.

60th for the round and jumped up nearly 2000 positions in all (which is not hard from how far back I started the round!).

Kept Cogger and Fonua as cashies, so I can finally concentrate on a tactical trade of Rein and possibly Havilli this week.

I was happy with my score until I saw I was in a h2h with you lol

Bloke is on fire but they won’t pick him as an 80min hooker. That’s his downfall. Could he play 80? Absolutely! Bloke is a beast! But are you looking for a hooker who will get gassed? Or are you looking for stability through the middle and hoping your backs provide the spark? The latter is the answer in this team. Cook will be bench hooker at best THIS year and it’s dependent on how they want to utilise the bench. If a back goes down, can Cook fill in at centre? Nope. Wing? Nope. Lock yes but who do you shift to centre? Graham potentially but he is injured. This is where Angus comes into play. Or, this is where Gutho puts his hand up as a Morgan-type bench utility.

I’m bringing him back now. Rein to Arrow for me.

You don’t lose a game by going Havili to Arrow because Havili doesn’t play 13 either.

I went out tonight thinking I'd lost my L3 H2H game by almost 20 points, but have come home to see I've won by 2 on updates.

Sorry @Green Machine. I don't feel particularly good about this one.

If you’re sacrificing even one gun to have “gun” centres, I think it’s going to bite, even long term, not just because Mitchell and Aitken went low this week.

Centres at their best average around 40-50. True guns of the game average 65+
So here’s how I see the back of fag pack maths, in deciding to burn no trades on the position this year, for the first time ever. Using 10pt floor/ceiling ranges where applicable...

Aitken Mitchell pairing to result in average range of 75-85 (the 50 total from this week is possible, but they’ll combine for 100pts at times too). To have this pairing you are going to end up with a top end JFH/Kikau type enabler with an eventual settled average of around 35-45pts

    Gun centre comborange = 110-130

Hiku Isaako pairing or any similar combo that you bought cheap and still have is not going to really need a range. They have a points average now of around 70 and will have the same 70 total at year end unless they both end up at full back for an extended run.

The real benefit of them is having an extra 800k gun to go with them for a 55-65 average.

Weak Centre combo range = 125-135

    High floor, marginally higher ceiling

Moral to my story will be to scrape through round 13 without pissing around with centre trades

Neither Hiku nor Isaako and probably still not even Kennar are playing, but if you’re fielding 15 players tops anyway, I recommend letting the centres be the ones who miss out this year

Lol tough blow for the people who brought Lamb in or had Cogger then turfed him.

Wanted to try shift Cogger last week but decided to wait since he wasn't going to lose anything.

She's still open mate, you've got away with it.

Very much agree and put that thought scenario into the front of mind preseason and hence started with Latrell / Fusitua and havent traded once. Not touching them.
