Yeah I think no matter how many ya have, those big three will be needed (Lolo, Taupau, Fifi)

It is a bit of a lottery as to who will and won't be picked for Origin. For round 13, I currently have (plus origin chances rated):

Taumalolo
Fonua
Murray
Ponga*
Cook**
Fifita*
Crichton*
A Reynolds*
Mitchel**
Tedesco**
Inglis***

* - Slight chance of origin - I actually don't think any of these guys will make it barring further injuries.
** - Very strong chance of origin, though fingers crossed I get one of them at least for round 13.
*** - Definitely playing origin.

I think Fonua will be named and keep his spot. He is a bit expensive but worth it if he pulls finger and Cleary keeps him in.

Tommy T picked over Teddy, unless the Curtis Scott incoming ban switches Tommy T to centre and Teddy to fullback. Angus is dependent on Graham being fit. Cook probably grabs a bench spot but don’t be shocked to see him admitted for a utility like Gutho - this is if Graham is unfit. That’s my two cents

Previous years it's been easy to predict the Origin selections bar a few spots... this season it's a lot more guesswork, which makes bye planning near to impossible.

I've adopted @Milchcow 's strategy of getting the best 17 together ASAP...

And as cray as I think those messages are. I hope youre correct too. Except it really means bugger all in the grand scheme of things. Cook and Teddy are in most teams any way

@Fortitude TTurbo is at $656k, that's a bargain. I've resigned myself to taking a plunge in the ranks over byes. I think getting my 17 together takes precedence

They are cray messages but it’s the feeling in the inner camp. I’m not rubbishing people when they say how qld was a dominant team so nsw shouldn’t clear the shop, but that’s the attitude going forward. There’s going to be some players turfed who arguably deserve to be in the team. Teddy has a question mark because of the way he left the Tigers and his lack of playmaking skills. He has individual brilliance but they are looking for a TEAM approach. Moses and to a lesser extent Brooks are being looked at to the future with Freddy, and obviously Cleary too.

Anyway, enough Origin talk for now.

I think I’m going to gamble of Terepo this week, and bring Arrow back in. I know Arrow doesn’t play 13 and is a shot for the qld team, but goddamn the bloke is a beast. I love him! And I cannot believe the broncos passed him up. I know McGuire is great but I could see Arrow being lock next year with MCGuire moving back to Prop (for Qld). Shit I just went to Origin lol.

I wish I jumped on Herman. He’s too pricey now. Love him. Guerra is looking solid too.

Why is Curtis Scott showing on both the fantasy and MTB's site as 12 points? Shouldn't it be 2? It appears no -10 points for the send off has been added.

@MP yeah Herman would be nice. I feel the same about Ma'u. But he scares me, in more ways than one.

Ma’u is fantastic! He will probably keep his minutes too once Brown returns.

I know both have there pros and cons around here.

RFM > Taupau
Havili > Watson

Watson is more of a stepping stone. Can produce some very good scores and had yet to have a bust since he has been back. Will keep him till Rd17 and move him on

Taupau is what he is.
