He looks so dangerous. Surely he keeps an 80 min gig on in the second row? Been Brisbanes best forward by a country mile.

Should hold it until Glenn is back. Maybe he stays there full time even when Glenn comes back, might depend on form. Glenn may slot back into that bench middle role he was playing a year or two ago.

With Sims out for 6 weeks we are very short on middle forwards. Roosters carved us up the middle a few times on Friday. That could force TPJ back into the middle of the field.. either way, you'd think he is playing big minutes.

    No captain Ponga this week?

That was a gutsy call btw, but I told you that Cook would score a try and you wouldn't listen Rolling Eyes

I rarely listen to anyone tbh. One of my main weaknesses and strengths combined Very Happy

I dont want the stress of a bold captain pick this week. Although, I'm very tempted by Tedesco vs Titans

If he can maintain his current scoring (averaging 56 in the 4 games since he's come back) then he is certainly worth it.

I have my doubts about his ability to maintain scoring that high long term, and he is the sort of player that Pookus will complain about breaking in a month's time. But its the sort of call I've been wrong on many times before.

At his current price point Watson seems only worth getting if you believe he's a keeper. I don't see a lot of halves with 20 KM a game that are keepers. Feels a bit high risk/moderate reward to me.

955 on the weekends. No obvs trades but Thompson needs to go.

    Cook
    Arrow Fifita
    Jurbo Tolo Chrichton
    DCE Cogger
    Isaako Mitchell
    Ponga Turbo Thompson

    Murray TPJ Martin Smith
    S’ua Kikau Brimson Lamb Sad

    Thompson > Fonua/Staggs/Holland/Cow
    Kikau > Teddy

Or should I go consistency and grab Macca instead of Teddy

    Thoughts??

1 game away from R13 and you want to sell Thompson? Are you not playing for overall?

    True.

He is so cheap given his potential value. I love watch him play exciting player.

But lot of risk for a keeper trade :S

For those who don't have Cook (probably only me at this point). How do we bring him in. He constantly goes huge and his price rises every week. There seems to be no "good time" anymore. Do I just bite the bullet and burn the cash for him? I feel like, even waiting until after origin, he will have gained MORE price in that time.....

Maybe not trading this week is a very sound idea. Not that I'll be able to help myself

TPJ- He's on my trade list, he won't be a keeper come season's end. When Glen, McGuire and Sims are all playing he only gets 40-50 minutes. He's a beast and I'm glad I still have him but he'll be long gone once he's peaked properly

@Brendos1er Cook is hands down the must have player in this game. Unless he gets injured he won't be coming down to earth. His floor is 49, so if you're happy to get a 49 for close to $900k, he's a buy

Hey gents. I have Koro, Lamb, Soro, D.Walker, Rein and Kennar in my team.

Rein obviously has to go, and first instinct was Kennar with him. But if he’s due back this week, even if he loses solid money, is it better to keep him just as a point scoring back up to cover any last minute changes? Otherwise I go in with 4 non playing NPR.

Or is it the smarter option to just get rid of Rein/Kennar, run the gauntlet and worry about my broken players next week when I can trade out four if necessary?

@Teeth Eater you can afford to hold Kennar. Even if he scores 20 odd, he'll only lose 15k. I'd flick Walker

Kennar I wouldn't have thought would walk right back into the team but if Johnston is out then he could get his spot back.

Rein has to go. Get rid of him. Walker too.

You not keen to hold Thompson for rd 13. Tigers vs bulldogs so every chance he could score well

I have no idea. He can be upgraded to perhaps Fitzgibbon but there is cover for now.
