Until Brown gets on the field and we can see what sort of scores he's putting out, I think he's risky. You could pick him up next week only to see his scores and minutes down on last year as he works his fitness back up.

We can more accurately predict what to expect with Surgess and Taupau.

I've been umming-and-ahhing about Surg. Hard to pass up at that price for someone who should average at least close to keeper status.

A 60 minute Taupau is great and his PPM increases in the longer minutes too (Haha probably needs to warm up those guns)
Though a 50 point FRF at that price is value and 250k turns a Rein into a Cam Smith so will opt for the cautious 'wait a week' approach

If Surgess has a good game and comes through unscathed then he comes in
Taupau ain't going anywhere though watch him punch out another banner score haha

Smith can come in this week instead

He definitely racks em up fast but as you often like to mention recently, Taupau is scoring higher cos his minutes are higher. Gives him a chance for junk points etc.

I'll take the 60 +/- 5 guy everytime over the 45ish one for this simple reason.

Even though Martin wears the no. 13 he's been playing in the 2nd row with Jackson at lock. If anyone gets a rest it will be Jackson.
I think Martin & Su'a will score roughly the same.

Had the C on Cook for so long and it's paid off almost every time.

I expect there to be a few new young uns at the broncs next year, and will also be watching some of the current crop. Article in the paper today talking about Su'a leaving Bris for a fulltime gig. That happens I'll be all over him. But keen to see if Todd Murphy gets a start.

Will also be watching BS9 closely.

For @NZWarriors , Shaun Johnson ran well at training today and will be fit to return in Rd14 after the bye.
Mason Lino is in some doubt for this weekend with a “leg strain” he picked up last week, did some running yesterday & today
