Can't agree. Rules should be applied as they are.

One of the chief causes of League's ref blaming culture is commentators acting as if the rules are just vague guidelines, and that refs should make decisions based on what they think the play deserves, rather than what actually happened.

Makes it hard for the refs if instead of just adjudicating on what happens, they also have to make a judgment call on whether the player should be punished or rewarded.

Sometimes players get to benefit from a 'mistake' and sometimes they get no reward for good play. Trying to make decisions based on the whims of what Phil Gould thinks should happen is just a bad idea

At least fantasy is doing better than VSDT.

Has a busy weekend so didn't get a chance to update team for Matterson and Fifita being out.
Capewell's 2 points coming in for both players.

I'd rather the Fantasy system, loophole and all than the shitty Dreamteam one.

And massive apologies to R&T whose login I have while he's away but couldn't update his team either

You've quoted Phil Gould again. I couldn't care less what he says. I'm watching fox. I also don't even know which particular "knock back" you are referring too. I'm stating my opinion in general. Refs have to make a decision in real time. It's hard and if your not sure it should be a knock-on. Bill Harrigan I think once said something like if it looks like a blank and smells like a blank, yeah can't remember. But whatever.

If the Tigers win this, there will be no Queensland teams in the top 8.

RFM & JMK sucked, but at least MCK put in a decent CTR score, hopefully he showed enough to Cleary to keep him there, wasn’t the ‘get out of the way Rochow’ performance I was hoping for though

    688. Surprised I didn't fall further than I did. RFM and JFH can GTFO.

I only noticed him looking a bit fucked when he went back to the bench. Did you see what happened on field? We looked decisively better when he was at Dummy Half. Liddle's running game has been great, but his service is average for a specialist Hooker in my opinion.
