I see a lot of people are bringing in TMM but he does not really appeal to me, anybody else have a different option? Was thinking I might just bring in that Olive kid despite not playing 13, he looked ten shades stronger than when he was playing for the Rabbits or Titans last night.

Was thinking I would bring in Taupau and Brown if named, still need a good cashout to do this though.

Might be interested in taking a punt on a guy who looks like missing Origin, is very cheap after injuries, should average 40 up to Round 17, and has been a 50-point player in the past...

Yeah, I think im gonna take a punt on Jake Friend too and hope his sternum is right. Rest of the guys ive got pencilled in are still overs and i dont like paying recommended retail for anything

Actually, I was thinking of soneone else who's even cheaper., but Friend is an interesting ootion too, didn't realise he was down to about 550k.
I was thinking of Wade Graham at 460k. It'd be a punt but getting him rather thsn a Fitzgibbon type would allow me to get the halves I want in a few weeks.

I always get these wrong! I didnt realise graham was that cheap either. Friend played 77 minutes in a dominant win last week, so good signs there. also he will be playing a tigers team that will trounce them next week so lots of tackling for himrhinoceroo wrote:

Some players score better on the wing fantasy wise than at fullback... Holmes and Thomo

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 47
Pretty happy with that round = scored 882 & up to rank 64
For round 13 I have 10 before trades
Fifita, Taumalolo, DCE, A-Rey, Kennar, Ponga, Thompson, Murray, Cogger, Capewell
I also own these that are origin bound
Cook, Crichton, Mitchell, Tedesco
I'll be trying to work Taupau into my team. A lot will depend on the status of Kennar & Capewell.

Wingers are the new centres & centres are the new 2nd rowers in modern football. You could also add L. Mitchell to the list because he scores better on the wing because it makes him more involved having to run it out of his own half.

Haha GM will love this. Thinking of bringing in Surgess, Gallen, Guerra, Koroisau for the bye round and up to 17 then to trade the worst 3 performers out for Harris, McInnes, SJ in round 17.
Means I can keep my current guns and strengthen the team in Rd17 for the run home.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 47
I want Nathan Brown too but I wonder if Arthur starts tinkering given their season is gone. No real need to push Brown's minutes out. Terepo and Alvaro have been playing biggish minutes in his place to maybe when Brown's back the workload will be shared a little more than it was in the past. Brown has proven he only needs 60 mins anyway to rack up big scores but you'd prefer it if he was getting some big mins I guess.

I'll hopefully bank a couple of trades this round.
They'll be super valuable for the run home.

Is Surgess too cheap to pass on? Is he still a keeper. Dont really want to trade him in and then trade him out again if he keeps struggling to crack 50. Also Matterson seems too expensive to bring in now might just wait to get Cleary. Not good for byes though

I'd been planning to avoid him but he's very tempting at his price. Might play 80 minutes this week with Crichton out (making an assumption that he may spend time one right edge, or maybe whoever plays right edge doesn't play 80 anyway).
He will probably rack up fake missed tackles though shooting out of the line to make first contact on Gallen/Fifita repeatedly.

Im expecting Surgess to the edge for 80 and Murray starting.
