This is probably the best decision, I think I'll do the same. Gotta try and hold some trades at some point.

Does anyone know if they are doing Origin Fantasy again this year? It's currently looking like that feature didn't make the cut into the shiny, totally 100% working new site.

I'm holding and hoping. Unless there is someone you simply don't want to miss, and have to trade him. Should be fresh and roaring to go in 2 weeks.

I am big on the holding hope for RFM. Now I am changing my mind a little. I can make the following trades.

    J. Fisher-Harris -> A. Fifita
    R. Faitala-Mariner -> M. Taupau
    V. Kikau -> Cash Out (Thinking Hipgrave, would like someone cheaper though.)

Then my other trade targets are Su'A, Martin and Murray. All are making money still or in the case of Murray should have a strong week this week. Otherwise I would like to hold Kikau. The other option is I hold Kikau and RFM for the week. Taupau should lose some cash. Then reassess Su'a, Martin, Murray and Kikau next week.

Looks like I'll have 13 for this round

    Koro
    Surgess, Fifita
    LOLO, Murray, not telling
    DCE, Matterson
    No centres - lottery avoided!
    Ponga, Fonua, no one

    Taupau, Nicholls, someone else....

Bog standard I think but banking 2 trades

    Origin and bye impacts removed

Are people sleeping on TPJ. He had a couple of weak scores which scared a lot of people, even myself. But he's been playing big minutes and busting out huge scores, his price still isn't crazy, at this point I'd consider him a season keeper over RFM. What's causing the lack of discussion?

    Hi

I've owned Cam Murray since R1, but i'm thinking its Fitzgibbon time.

    Both RD13, CMurray: Avg 44 BE 58 LFitz: Avg 51 BE 48

I know Murray should get big minutes this week, but he's less likely to rise in value than Fitz is to retain value in my eyes (given Murray minutes/scores probably fall to avg after SOO, so i would want Fitz anyway if he's still pumping out the fiddy's).

    Any thoughts on this guys?

What happens when McGuire slides back into the team?

I can't imagine Bennett would be able to drop him, fantasy aside, he has been an absolute stand-out in an inconsistent Broncos side. He is young, so he does have other players seniority to contend with, but I feel like his recent 3 year deal and their need to start investing in their future stars, he will continue to get big minutes.

Then again, if not I'll just swap him for Tolo.

OK, so it's likely that I'll need to make some compromises on my ideal team given some of my trades that haven't worked out over the last month (Lamb, Sorenson, Capewell). But I can still reach a pretty strong final 18.

I need another stepping stone to make about another $100-$150k cash generation by Rd 18, and I need to select 3 downgrade options for my EMGs. I'm not too worried about whether they play Rd 13 or 17 as I'm not going to trade them in and out for 1 extra game and 20-30 points.

I already have R Martin and Fonua as my Money Makers to be upgraded in the coming weeks.

I'm thinking TMM as a downgrade option this week. Maybe Campbell Graham. Maybe Brimson for next week. I had planned Segeyaro when he was only just above base price, but that extra $60k cost over the last few weeks probably counts him out. But I'm a bit lost on the best options.

So I'm hoping anyone out there may offer some ideas for downgrade targets and stepping stones that may make me my final cash requirements.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers guys.

Is anyone looking at Ethan Lowe from the Cowboys. Is quite cheap at 343K and might get a full 80 min gig this week without Cooper, Hess and possibly Scott. Also in the next few weeks during Origin, if something happens to Cooper/Hess re injury or getting a rest will hopefully see Lowe slot straight in.

An option I'm looking at is John Olive from the Bulldogs. With J.Morris out till abt round 20, Olive played quite well yesterday and might keep the gig till then.

He did catch my eye when I saw his price earlier. Will wait for team lists but Butcher looks as good an option for $100k less so I'm leaning towards him at this stage.
Lowe is a real workhorse though, always liked him.

I would love to grab TPJ but when Mcguire, Glenn, Gillett and co return from injury I can see his minutes being a little up and down. TPJ is a gun and the key now for him is consistency (in footy). He seems to thrive off a bit of a subtle rev up, so Bennett may use those types of tactics with him again through-out the season.

But won't Butcher start on the bench & be lucky to get 20 minutes whereas Lowe will play 80 mins.

Not sure about Nat Butcher, because I think he might keep the same role he has now 20-30 mins from the bench.
Am I right in thinking that this might be the Roosters side this week? Not sure who would be No 17 (maybe someone like Vunakece)

    9 Jake Friend (c),

    13 Victor Radley

    Interchange: 14 Zane Tetevano, 15 Kurt Baptiste, 16 Nat Butcher 17 ?????
