Barnett with a nice 42 before he says goodbye, would of gone big with extra minutes very busy today! 628 with Fonua to come halved my rank so happy enough, with 1.12mil in the kitty McInnes and SJ in after lockout and around 10 for R17 before the injuries hit

497 all done from my lot. Not having Taumalolo or Taupau puts me a little behind everyone else but I have still managed to gain about 500 ranks. Will be going hard at 17 from here. Murray>Harris next week

610/9 with Fonua & C. Thompson to play. I can't complain with any of my players scores so far.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
Barring Dugan screwing me, and Ese'ese being suspended.. Looking at 600+ which is pretty solid.
Missed the Alvaro train last week, had been scared off by Brown coming back into the team.
Looking forward to seeing how Friend goes, will probably get an early head knock with my luck
Trades next week;
Thompson -> Olive
Lane -> CS9
Would leave me on;
Cook
Fifita Arrow
Jturbo LOLO Harris
SJ Arey
Mitchell Olive
Holmes Ponga Fonua
Smith Ese'ese TPJ Surgess | Friend Martin Cogger Dugan+
Leaves me with $60k to upgrade Holmes the next week or so (RTS?). With him playing Fullback with Dugan out, low BE, hoping he can hold up in my starting side for a few weeks and make some more $$.
Forwards are set, I'm happy with Fonua playing. If Olive is inconsistent Dugan will be on his arse with Aitken straight in. Would only give me 8-9 trades to go, so would like to hold him.

Updates have me 604/9(c) with Fonua, Marsters and Thompson to go. A Tigers tryfest would be great. Halved my rank and finally made it into the top 1000. Hopefully I stay there.

Great effort Wolfy. You should go up in rank even further with 3 players left.

640 with fonua to come. Only had 9 play, two of them combined for 32pts. Can’t complain with that.

Most of the top teams will struggle rd 17. Just make sure you have the obvious rd 17 guns.

This no trades thing is kind of relaxing. Can't make a bad trade if you don't make any

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
So now the first bye is nearly over, what is everyone thinking for next steps?
I’ve got arey and dce, think I’ll try get SJ in before rd 17. Run three halves.
Think holding havili will be solid until Hodgson is back, another 4 weeks minimum. Getting more and more minutes, scores well with big minutes.
Not sure who else to target for rd17. Have Harris and smith already. Don’t want to drop any of the players I already have. Looking like I’ll only have 7-8 (decent) players at this stage for rd 17.

You could be in good stead to swap Havili to McInnes in coming weeks. Or at least get him in somehow and then cash out on Havili.

Yeah, havili is on the edge. If he played rd 13 not 17, it would be a no brainer to upgrade him this week.
Do we think Martin will maintain his scores until rd 17, worth holding through?

Can’t see why Martin won’t keep it up. Unless someone steals half his minutes he should be good for 40+.

Looking at 650 this round. Tradeins of Fitz, Burgess, Tuala and Graham ended up not being the optimal trades for this round but hope they do well in the future.
Torn on a few guys bjt with 12 trades left will need to wait a few rounds before making more moves
