    Where are you placed again mate? You look pretty well set although death riding JTrbo and Taupau by the looks. Can you bring those two in from 18?

    Thanks mate, usually I'm a heavy bye planner but this year I've traded my way to a final 17 as quickly as possible ignoring the byes.

    Currently ranked 253 but with a little luck I'm hopeful of a top 100 finish still.

    I edited my original post too mate.

    Too risky to hope that Holland becomes a CTR keeper?

    That way I can see if Holland gets an extra +4 a week for GK if he gets it infront of Martin. Holland has a decent avg when playing 80 in the CTR

    If he doesn't then I'll get Aitken for R17 instead?

    Do you mean you can wait a week mate?

    I think I'll do Fonua-Holland this week. He's got a month minimum, maybe the rest of the season. When compared with Aitken I think the extra 300k in the kitty is worth it, he has the potential to average similar to Aitken and Aitken's form is down along with the Dragons.

    It's a gamble but Montoya hopefully goes back to Wing when Jorris is back. Reimis probably makes way either way and Holland ends up on the Wing anyway? Not ideal but better than 15 minutes off the bench.

    Flipside is a guy who averaged just under 40 in 2016 over 15 games at C with only 3 tries. Albeit Dogs were playing better back then. Definitely could go wrong, and Pay is proving to be a Fantasy Coach's foe, but it's the Centre position and he is nearly bottom dollar.

    How many trades left mate?

    Was thinking of bringing in James/SJ in for Fitzgibbon as my second trade.

    But then I'm forced to leave at least one keeper out of the team each week.
    So I guess it's a waste of a trade in the end.

    Only 9 trades going into this week mate.

    Would prefer SJ obviously, but already have DCE and Cleary. Although Cleary I'm not to happy with

    Dugan, Olive and Fonua have hurt me, I'm 2 backs short this week, so no options (really wanted Gallen, oh well). Martin and TPJ are bonuses.

    I'm thinking;

    Fonua -> Holland
    Cogger -> RTS.

    Want to dump Dugan, but if I hold this week it saves me a trade down the line of getting another back keeper. I currently have 8 trades left, $47k with;

    Cook
    Fifi Arrow
    Jurbo Harris Lolo
    SJ ARey
    Mitchell Dugan+
    Holmes Ponga RTS

    Smith Ese ese Surgess TPJ | Martin Friend Holland Olive

    Next week will get interesting, thinking Friend to Farah ($0), Holmes to Aitken (+$80k), Olive to Fainu (+$60, might be worth holding as a NPR though), then at some stage upgrade TPJ/Eseese to a top gun, with 4 trades left for injuries.

    I'd keep dugan because when he returns he is probably the no1 option for highest scoring CTR and take the hit in that position this week

    I'd want Dugan in my top 17 but I won't get him back after dumping him already once this season

    Bang or Bust backline, would be nice to see them all fire on the same weekend and tick you over the 1k.

    Speaking of Dugan, I've done my left Achilles out of nowhere Lol

    Decent strain but nothing RICER won't sort out. I've been training for 6 weeks solid to get my bikini bod back but same regime every week so maybe just overuse. I am the original glassman Embarassed

    I now believe the 6 kgs I have dropped will be back on by the end of this Round!

    wait a week on Aitken to see how Holland goes mate was the option, Holland essentially a cahsout instead of Lewis, would play this week with Isaako and would provide the extra CTR cover down the line. If he doesn't get GK which is a decent 4-6 point additional I go Aitken the following week but waste another trade....on a CTR  Embarassed

    I could just go Aitken and potentially upgrade Isaako to Mitchell after R17 ( would mean keeping RFM or Kikau instead of upgrading to JTurbo/Macca

    Aitken is a gun in the CTR pure and simple, simple down period in his scoring, it will pick back up I'm sure of that, he doesn't even need his team to go well to score well, he makes a ton of tackles, misses not many and has the TBs in him. Will outpoint Latrell + Fergo (now overpriced) and Dugan because of extra game so is the premier CTR option for me

    In all seriousness though, having 4 bench players all in one position leaves your 4 EMGs to cover the rest of the team. I'd take a guess and say that cover would be pretty average compared to other teams with more flexibility.

    What would you EMGs look like if you did that?

    Yeah had a think over and decided to shelf that.
    Would have given a bench of

    CSmith
    McInnes
    Farah
    Taupau (DPP)
    -

    TPJ (DPP)
    Fainu
    RMartin
    Brimson (Half/WG)

    Nice to have Fainu (for FOMO) but at the end of the day I dont see him in my 17.
    Still think Farah could be a keeper, but having 4 hookers will still be difficult.

    Unlucky mate! Just keep off the carbs in the rehab and you will be fine!

    I snapped my ankle this time last year training the kids, refused the hard cast because i was going on sons footy tour, in the moon boot for 12 weeks but worse decision I ever made because its still fucked now, weak as guts it is! my fault though!

    That sucks mate, must be painful. Seems like you have the right attitude, be heavy on the ice and you'll be back in no time.

    It's definitely hard keeping the kg's off mate with an injury and you're totally laid up mate, just be mindful on what you eat and you'll be fine bro.

    I have trades and I don't know what to do with them.

    13 trades and 148K ITB.

    Smith
    Fifita Taupau
    Harris Tolo Crichton
    MBye ARey
    Mitchell Marsters
    Teddy Ponga Fonua

    Cook Arrow Griffin Martin

    JFH Coggar Doueihi Olive

    SJ is the target obviously for my halves but I'll need 2 downgrades to get him in at the moment unless I move Griffin which I'm not keen on yet.

    Thinking 1 trades Fonua to Farrah to get a bargin keeper but that might be shooting myself in the foot with all the hookers. Maybe also Douehi or Olive to Holland and play him this week if I get Farah? Or get Mann and Holland this week and have the money for maybe McInnes and SJ next week, although I'm keen to burn 4 trades next week anyway. If anyone has any views that would be great. Thanks.
