NRL ladder is bizarre at the moment.

2 points between 3rd and 8th.
6 points between 8th and 9th.

Got 960 which seems weird given all the low scores in my side. Owning milf has paid off this week. Moved up 40 odd places to 37 overall.

Seems DCE to 7 for qld and hunt to bench, which is good for me as well. And Mann if he plays halves

Having bought in Harris this week is a kick in the balls. Ponga injury sucks too, but affects everyone i guess.

Got 884 and moved up a massive 9 places to 430. Not bad considering I had Ponga, Mitchell, Marsters and Griffin.

Harris, Ponga and Griffin my issues at the moment.

I was out after that Reynolds try so missed the rest of the game.  Came home and saw Doueihi didn't take the field, magic!!!  

Just read about Inglis too, should be right in a fortnight though?  Doueihi at centre would be nice.

This wouldn't bother me to much unless I was currently ranked 1.

Well you are right in a sense, in that Timana Tahu hasn't played in the NRL since 2014.
But I had Farah sitting in my team for almost a full 2 weeks and never considered any other options during the whole break -until about 20 minutes before kickoff I saw someone else ask whether Tohu would be not be better than Farah for their own team. I was so close to avoiding this disaster, I blame myself and my addiction to Fantasy Fanatics.

I stand by the fact that I made the decision, nobody else. But sometimes I think too many outside opinions can be a bad thing for your own game, even if they are the "right" ones. I am usually an expert at ignoring people's advice, wish I didn't buck the trend in this instance.

I will leave it alone now though, I realize how close this comes to all those "I was SO close to trading in and captaining [player x]" comments after [player x] scores 100, that riddles other fantasy discussions.

I had Tohu already. I had Farah in my team for the last 2 weeks and changed to Johnson at the last minute. Will probably still get Farah in Rd 18, but the cost differential hurts

If you care to go back before the Warriors game, he mentioned having Farah in for two weeks and getting cold feet at the last minute and thinking of going Harris instead and myself and maybe a couple of others also mentioned Harris was a better pick due to next week.

I don't know if you're saying his post was bullshit or whatever you are getting at but it's there in black and white.

This place is brilliant and a blessing, but it does have those sheep tendencies that we can all sometimes follow. It's hard mate, if Harris didn't get injured, he would have scored more than 79 over this week and next week then probably the same as Farah moving forward, so I get what Rabbit is saying there, but if Harris cracked the 50 and stayed injury free, you'd feel a lot better. The game sure is a kick in the nuts sometimes.

Nah, the last line is modesty in a fashion, you were deadset bringing him in mate, we all know that. Well, except Rabs.

To be fair Wolfking, your advice was still solid. Tohu was probably still the better pick, but its all just circumstantial. What I love about this game is also what i hate about it. Its like a drug addiction.

Truth be told, as soon as the news of Farah joining the Tigers was announced, my first thought was, 'welcome to my team.' I had the coin to go Fonua to Farah in 1 trade which is what I was going to do. As the round due closer, I was freaking out more and more about round 17 and my absymal numbers. Did a fucking downgrade to Kurt Mann and then sat on the second trade all weeked. Had the coin to go Doueihi or Olive to Farah, but decided to keep my trades and burn 4 next week after Griffin, Harris and Ponga went down.

I'm still not that upset I didn't get Farah this week, because at the end of the day, he still doesn't play next round, so getting him in two weeks, even at the cost differential won't be such of a blow. Then if I turn Griffin into McInnes, might not be room for Farah.

This game isn't like a drug addiction, it is an addiction.

961 for the week. Considering I wanted 800 im quite happy with that

Looks like Fantasy has had a total meltdown and deleted this week from existence. My points total has been reverted back to what it was before any games this week

My points are still there, but rank went back to last weeks and says I have 4 trades but players still locked with no prices changed yet.
