    Yeah good point. Was thinking he'd averaged 50 in the past, but you're right - 43, 49 and 46 last 3 seasons.

    Maybe I'll target SJ first depending on the injury news and take the punt on Hodgson second if things are dire.

    Probably hold Ponga with the 3-4 week timeframe and weigh up the damage with Harris, Kikau and Sua.

    I was impressed with his score. When I saw the scoreline I figured he must've had a bunch of attacking stats, but nope, just the 1 TB.

    Teams like to test new halves in defence a lot, and it seems he did well with 32 tackles and only 2 missed, but it was the Knights (with no Pearce, Ponga, Fitz..), so those stats will probably take a hit.

    As a Rd 17 cashout, who'll probably sit in the EME unless he's the next Cleary when he debuted, you could probably do worse.

    He really only needs to average 55 to be a better prospect than almost any round 17 prospect.
    And the ones who are better options cost $200k more.

    Was an easy decision to bring him in.

    Yeah this is a good one to know, I'm thinking of getting rid of Olive for one of these 2. Lewis is probably a better one, because he gives me some half cover, but more importantly plays 17. But if his position is up for grabs, he'd be a dead spot in my team (don't have the trades).

    Think I'll get him anyway bounce He looked pretty solid.

    You won't be playing Lewis in your 17 after this week unless he's an injury replacement.

    But he's cheap and looks like he should be acceptable EMG fodder so I am very strongly considering him

    Who's holding Pong? I can't bring myself to trading him.. He's too good! Helps that Holland performed, so have potentially OK replacement.

    Young Wally looked good. Got some size and speed about him. Has a kicking game. Tackles well. Gets involved. He could end up the dominant half at the dogs.

    Annoying injury that could be two weeks or he could keep getting ruled out at last minute and end up missing 4 or 5.

    Decision on whether to hold or punt might be one of the turning points in the season for a lot of fantasy coaches. Many might not have the trades to bring him back in. I've no doubt he will pump out some big scores in the run home, but is it worth the hold...?

    I'll definitely hold this week.

    Personally, I'm in a tricky spot. I had been considering turfing Surgess and/or Crichton this week but both have turned in good scores and it makes me second guess those choices. Sua's 10 really halts his price, with a BE of 54 now, but he plays this week (assuming he's all good), so no need to punt him til next round. Just brought in Harris, we all know what happened there.

    Will souths rest players again after origin 3 ?

    Fifita an awkward one as well.

    I'm going Ponga > RTS. Saves me a downgrade trade I'd otherwise need to do this week to afford Su'a & Martin > Farah & Arrow next week

    Looks like more updates. Just checked and I was 884 last night, finished on 896. Smith went up to the 81. Havent tried doing these trades yet but this week for me hopefully;

    Coggar - Lewis
    Griffin - McInnes
    Harris - SJ
    Olive - Holland

    Will hold Ponga at this stage. I think these are solid trades.

    Curtis Scott is almost the same price as Holland now.. haha. I guess if you didn't get holland already you are taking a punt this week on Scott vs Dragons (no JDB, Vaughan, Frizell, Hunt) or Holland vs Raiders.. the latter is probably still more appealing.

    I'm looking at doing >

    TMM -> Lewis
    Tuala -> Cheapie that plays.. (Holland/Scott).
    Harris -> SJ

    Would mean I have three halves though (milf, reynolds, SJ).. bad idea?

    The second trade doesn't really net me many dollars though. May just go for someone closer to basement and hope they can score well.  Scott or Holland would offer some cover down the track in case a backup CTR is required.

    Would leave me with 6 trades and enough $$ to go Sua -> Farah for round 18, and a final team in place (although Ponga an issue).

    Will be going Tohu to R James this week.

    Cant bring myself to do Ponga to RTS. Trades are getting to hard to come by. My concern is Ponga injury blows out, or they decide to not take the risk for end of season given they wont make the 8.

    Going off averages, im looking at getting about 500 for rd 17

    Maybe QLD will pick Ofa, already losing Mcguire, and Sua misses out due to concussion. Fifita getting a start in the 2nd row would be a great cash out, although very unlikely to happen Beating Heart Would also be very unlike Bennett to put him straight into the starting side.

    @ MTB - Your b/e for Doueihi should be 16 but on your break evens you have 40. It's one of those anomalies again where a dnp was recorded as a 0 score. Thanks mate.
