    Thanks lads.

    Smith
    Fifi Taupau
    Harris Tolo Crichton
    Coggar ARey
    Mitchell Marsters
    Ponga Teddy MBye

    Cook Arrow Griffin Martin

    JFH Mann Doueihi Olive

8 trades still after these 4 trades with SJ will still have 200K. I think I will probably go SJ.

So far I have Harris => Aitken, Olive => Lewis.

    Gives me this with $260k ITB, 6 trades;

    Smith
    Arrow Fifi
    Lolo Jurbo Surgess
    ARey SJ
    Aitken Mitchell
    Holmes Pong RTS

Cook, Ese'ese, Martin, TPJ | Friend, Dugan, Holland, Lewis

Next week Friend will become Farah (might do it this week), -$30k, leaving $230k to upgrade a back (need to see the Sharks line up with Dugan and Holmes there to decide who goes) to a Forward (Gallen likely, possibly Taupau if I wait a week..).

With that approach, if Dugan goes to centre next week and Holmes stays at 1, I have good cover for Ponga rather than having to use Holland.

Once Ponga returns would leave me a strong EMG crew of TPJ, Martin, Holland and Lewis for the final weeks.

    Any advice, let me know..

I am leaning towards keeping Ponga and ditching Harris.

Maybe sell them both and death ride their fantasy scores when they return. Advantage of that is I can afford basically any replacement., and it does not matter if they miss an extra week coming back

If Harris and Ponga are out for a month I'll definitely be letting both go. Just have to wait for some word from the clubs.

And yes will be nice to pick and choose whoever I like as a replacement.

If Ponga is 3-4 weeks he is a hold. That might only be 1-2 games he misses. Nobody else is capable of hitting close to his scores in WFB, I already have Tedesco and Turbo

Harris can go if 4 weeks or more. Plenty of equivalent (if not better) scorers around his price point.

    Pearce back after the bye.

Cogger still has cash to make because with Ponga out Watson will play f/b, Cogger will keep starting when Pearce returns. Sure both Pearce & Cogger are halfbacks but in modern football it's not a problem.

Wow, good point but Coggar will lose his KM's with Pearce back and Im trading fir Lewis who will make more cash.

@ wackos - Su'a was unavailable for the Maroons due to a foot injury which would me he's unavailable for the Broncos this round.

So wacko is inferring this but we all know how injured players suddenly recover so they can play for their clubs. But if he is out I'm down to 4 players haha.

That is a fair point. He would miss 3 games if out for a month though and I'm not keen on playing Brimson for that long.

I never thought about Cogger's loss of km's.

Trading in McInnes and SJ with their BE's just cause they play this week makes me a bit sour.

I think I'll only use 2 trades which will leave 5 left:
Cogger out - L. Lewis in
    Tuala out - Aitken in

Smith, McInnes, R. Martin, Su'a, L. Lewis, Aitken, Holland

I thought of getting SJ but he's not exactly posting big scores plus with a b/e of 68 he'll be cheaper post round 17. I thought about getting R. James but he ain't cheap @ 872k , priced at 60 points & he can't keep scoring tries every game.

What's the consensus on Holland?? Worth bringing in after his performance last week??

If I keep Ponga I'll need to move Hopo down to WFB and Holland into CTR and hope like hell the Bulldogs can win games Shocked

Looking at three trades this week:

    Inglis ---> Aitken
    Cogger ---> L.Lewis
Gosieski ---> McInnes? Not sold on him but he's the best looking option as a keeper. Who else is a goer for $800k? Worth holding the trade for a round and foregoing the 50ish points McInnes will rack up? I can't see anyone else suitable at a glance.

I have Holland and played him. I reckon he'll score around 26 this week as is the nature of CTRs.

This is a stupid idea(I think) but I was thinking of the following trades if Sua is out this week

    Harris to Aitken
    Sua to SJ
    Ponga to James

Leaves me with this team and 4 trades/38k remaining

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo Jurbo James
    DCE SJ
    Mitchell Aitken
    Tedesco Mbye Isaako

    Smith
    McInnes
    Brown
    ARey

    Martin
    Hetherington
    Fainu
    Brimson

    Thoughts?

I would bring in Holland. He's very under rated & is a good downgrade.
