Yeah the selfie and the guy high-fiving his team mate after pointing to his cheek after the fight.... just a different world these guys are living in.

The 5 on 3 then 5 on 2 was bizarre to watch. Neither team really knew what to do for a minute before the friendly foul out.

Thank you - long time listener, first time caller!

I have 7 left, so figured if I made 3 or 4 this week it'd leave me in a relatively good position for the home run to cover any injuries.

Welcome zaggo and your post here brings up a good point I've been meaning to make - how many trades are people thinking after their team is 'complete' (protip: your team is never complete).

5-6 trades for 9 rounds remaining is my aim. I'm still not sure that's going to be enough given recent injury history!

    Oh bloody hell.

Right then. Aitken lad, don't forget to lift with your knees, get plenty of rest, hydrate properly and don't touch Dugan in case his glass is contagious.

Bunty Afoa will also miss around 6 weeks after dislocated elbow. I wonder if that brings mannering into reckoning.

    Additional, re tohu, from nrlphysio

Jamie Buhrer recently returned from a meniscus tear that required surgery after missing only 2 weeks of footy. Buhrer was initially expected to be out for 6-8 weeks. Shows recovery can sometimes be accelerated in these cases

If you've got 5-6 left you'll be a mile in front of the majority. I've got 7 but will likely use four this week.

In terms of trades - Jensen to Tolman, too lateral?

Don't see any benefit in Tolman/Jensen swap. I'd be looking for an upgrade/downgrade instead.

Niukore looks good. Only issue is Moeroa back from suspension in a couple of weeks. Does he replace Niukore, Taka or does Moeroa come back on the bench?

I have 2 trades after this week.

1 trade to bring in a CTR to complete my final 17 (up to $596k in value)

    Then 1 trade for injuries.

Have depth down to 19 so can handle a few short term injuries, but could well be limping home.

    I regret nothing

    Ponga and Harris out

    SJ and Aitken in.

I'm keeping Ponga. Need 1 loop anyway. I'm looking at Milford over SJ I like his run. Aitken had season best 10 tbs last game and previous 5 avg was 32. I might take my chances with Holland this round

How many trades have you got left?

Is anyone looking at holding Harris for a few weeks to see what happens? Not advocating that but there could be some merit in it.

Do I hold Ponga and have to play Hiku for the length of his injury? OR do I drop him for RTS knowing I wont be able to bring Pong back. With Ponga back in 5 weeks (give or take), im not sure that he will outscore RTS over the length of that period.

But it does save me a trade.

Im tempted to hold Harris this week and trade out Alvaro instead, as I was always planning on doing that next week anyway. But it doesn't seem logical to trade out a player who is scoring (not well last week) and hold someone who 100% wont be. But, I want to bring in James.

I'd be holding Ponga before holding Harris, and you'd need a lot of depth in your team to hold both.

I got James last week because I was filthy at reversing the week before with RCG news. Cost me 55k more. He seemed to stick on 60pts for the last 20-25 min. Now he's another 47k more absolute top dollar.
